    I'm posting here because I've never reached out to this community for help before.

    [NOTE: Before you read or reply, PLEASE understand that I am already intimately familiar with Hard-Flaccid, or "HF syndrome", Peyronie's disease, and PIED. I am POSITIVELY CERTAIN that I do not have Peyronie's or HF, and I am fairly certain I do not have PIED, because it is easy for me to get erections, even without stimulation or images—the problem is that they are numb and uncomfortable. I just want to make that clear, before people start throwing out those diagnoses. I have been to multiple urologists and they have all ruled out Peyronie's. I do not have symptoms of HF—My penis, if anything, is larger and longer since the injury. I believe, but cannot be sure, that my problem may be nerve-related or due to over-stretching of the penis during a kegel. Again, as an informed person who has been studying the literature and participating in several forums regarding this subject for 8 months, here is a list of what I do not have:

    - Peyronie's
    - HF Syndrome
    - PIED
    ]

    I'm here to see if anyone else might have further insight into this, or might have gone through something similar. On to my very short summary:

    8 months ago, I was masturbating while watching porn standing up. I experienced shooting pain through my urethra (only through the shaft) during ejaculation. Several hours later, I wanted to see if it had been a fluke, so I MO'd (without porn) while lying down. I experienced the same thing.

    For the next week, I experienced very tight PF muscles. Soon, I learned how to relax the pelvic floor and now I do not experience PF tightness anymore.

    The problem is, it is now 8 months later and my glans is totally numb. Sex is uncomfortable.

    I'm wondering if there are any people with a medical background who have any idea what this could be, or if anyone else has experienced a similar injury.

  2. I have what I believe is "chronic pelvic pain syndrome". I went through a period when there was pain and numbness in penis. With time it improved, over months, and I attribute part of the improvement to recognizing PMO is a problem and reducing it somewhat (still have a long way to go to break free). Stretching and relaxation and hot baths may also help. If nerve damage that is different but can also heal very slowly, even over years.

    This is comforting. The surface penis has been pretty numb for some time. I'm not sure if it was always this way, or if I just actually noticed it in the past month, but for some reason, something feels different.

    Regarding NoFap, I am struggling. I have seen the light a few times, but, on a deeper level, I'm so depressed that it's hard to say no. Plus, I work from home, so I have way too much time alone.

    I'd love to find a serious abstinence partner. Anyone can PM me if interested.

    I am familiar with this post. I suffer from Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome as well and I've had painful ejaculations as well. I've had much more than that. I've had pain in my urethra, pain in the left side of my shaft, pain near the base and pain in the head (of the penis I mean). In the first months this made me panic a lot, but it is all due to high pelvic tension and stress re-direction. I know this to be a fact since it has been confirmed by my pelvic floor physical therapist that my pelvic tension is high and I have no medical issues or symptoms that describe a different diagnosis like Peyronie's or Venous Leak. Healing from CPPS is hard and takes a long time, but it is all believed to be myo-fascial (muscle stuff), so it is comforting to know that there is nothing wrong with my penis, but with my pelvic floor muscles and my stress management.

    And with the nerves thing, it is true. Your nerves will heal. The beautiful thing is that the penis is supplied by the pudendal nerve, and that nerve is not a part of the central nervous system, which means that it CAN and WILL heal. It is a peripheral nerve, an can thus heal. It does take a long time though. The process can stretch up to a year.
