Well I do not consume cigarettes or alcohol or have other addiction.I remember just two things in my life which I have committed and failed countless times: one is PMO and other Time Management.
It was like today I say I would quit PMO or start Time Management and six months later I would still be saying that and again after a year at same place I was a year earlier.I remember the quote:"A year from now you will wish you had started today."
Do anyone of you have the similar experience with PMO or anything else.

    Hey man,

your whole post is a subtle, probably subconscious from your part, search for a justification.

I say this because there are two possible responses: Yes, there are more difficult things, and No, there aren't.

In case it's "No, there aren't", are you proposing since this is the most insurmountable obstacle you will fell less compelled to complete the challenge?

The answer to that question is actually: it depends on the person.

Is there anything more difficult? Probably for you there isn't anything more difficult than NoFap right now.

For me, clearly, there are things more difficult. 90 days earlier, probably NoFap was one of the most difficult things.

My point is, you have to just do it. There is no try. LEARN everything you can. Read the valuable threads on this forum. Read yourbrainonporn.com. Watch the videos. Do anything possible.

Why all that learning? Because learning is an activity that engages and empowers the conscious brain —prefrontal cortex. That will make you see yourself from the outside plus you'll actually learn how to do this.

The ability to complete such a challenge comes from your knowledge, experience and mindset.

You're saying you've procrastinated for months. Well, for instance there is a ton of posts in my journal explaining how to deal with procrastination and lack of discipline.

But to specifically answer to your question:

Yes, I've dealt with food addiction (i.e. being fat) and through the process of getting fit I learned valuable lessons on how the human mind operates. That taught me a lot to now overcome this PMO addiction.

I also had thoughts like "I'll never be fit".

Well, with some effort that after the achievement seems like nothing, eventually I was fit.

That's why I say this is a thing that CAN be done, that comes from experience and having the mindset that "I will do ANYTHING in my power, even if that's dealing with my subconscious brain, to overcome this"

    Hope it helps.

Hi Aryan, I think we are at the same boat here, I don't smoke or drinking alcohol so I don't have any addiction beside P (then MO) or maybe playing video games at overtime. but I guess addiction (whatever it is) is really hard to fight, you need more than a high will power to overcome that. I remember how hard for me to start this NoFap, this streak is my longest streak now, I used to relapse like every single day before starting strong like the way I'm now.
