are funny vines a healthy outlet?

im a expert at fappn, still a beginner at no fappn. with my first official day of no pmo under my belt i had an urge to watch some p. instead i watch a ton of hilarious vine vids in the same manner, no i didn't mo off of them. however, i had such a great time just laughing at tons of 7second vids that i completely lost the urge to look at filth. i was just wondering are vine vids a good outlet??? if not, any suggestions

I used to play video games instead, kind of like how you're watching vines instead. My rationale was that it was nice to have something to do that wasn't what I didn't want to do. But sitting in front of the computer when you don't have to is still similar to your brain, and the more actual real life things you can find, the better off you'll be.

I personally got rid of Vine. There's a ton of homemade porn on there that will only hurt you but ultimately, it's your decision.

As with many things, moderation is key. Porn isn't the devil per se, it's just that it's highly addictive and unproductive, even useless. Things like TV, videogames, and perhaps, funny videos/vines, can also be in the same wagon sometimes.

We're here to stop an uncontrollable behaviour, for others that are more fulfilling. My suggestion would be that if you feel you're spending too much time in front of it, while you have things to do... stop it. You're just replacing an addiction for another.

NO, its not Kodec nailed it on the first post, addiction is horrible but there is a problem when filling the void left by porn you turn into a an addict of other things, anyway just refer to what Kodec posted, it was spot on.

I'm with Kodec and DireWolf on this one. Some people may be able to manage P with moderation but not me. I'm like an alcoholic, I can't stop at one drink. The last time I tried to stop I made it 6 days (a personal best at the time) before falling off the wagon. It took me a year and a half to find my way to this site. I don't know you or your situation, but if you're like me then vine bids will lead to something stronger and telling yourself that you can handle it in moderation is a fantasy. You know yourself best, just make sure you're honest with yourself.
