With NoFap I read a lot of forum posts and articles about how beneficial it is, but rarely is anything mentioned about potential side effects or possible risks involved. I know NoFap isn't exactly a dangerous concept, but is it actually healthy to abstain your sexual desires for such a period of time?

The body knows when it has an imbalance and makes you do things. For example, you puke if you're poisoned, you sleep if you're tired, and you masturbate if you're horny. What happens to the genital region if you just stop doing anything with it? I've heard people mention testicular pains and over sensitive penis'. Some people also talk about erectile disfunction and premature ejaculation problems as a result?

So I guess all I'm asking is, can NoFap actually have negative effects on your health?

  2. The only one that I've heard of consistently is blue balls. But that has not been an issue for me at all. For me, I'm on 48 days, and the only health issues have been rollercoaster biochemistry, with raising and lowering testosterone and energy levels.

Oh, and I'm horny as hell.

Blue balls is fake bra because if you don't ejaculate the semen is recycled in the blood through the prostate.
Every guy has night erections so your genitals give themselves maintenance all the time its not like a machine that you need to fire up once in a while to keep it running correctly

Actually what happens is the testicles grow to the size of softballs. The longer u go the larger they get then pow!

I'm just kidding no there is no side effects. Of course the companies that say there are side effects are trying to sell something.
