    Hi all

I was just thinking to myself today and i hope i can find people with similar interests. To protect the younger guys and to protect our selves and make it easier to quit porn i was hoping that we can help make porn illegal. Just like they made drugs illegal. This is the only way to solve the problem and help the younger guys not grow up to be like us. Most people are ignorant about this topic but i believe pornography is the root to a lot of problems. Most people watch porn and jack off but don't realize how badly it is affecting their lives.

Lets at least make it hard to get porn so it doesn't become a norm and keep ruining people's lives. Imagine what else you could be doing instead of spending hours watching porn. Imagine how much you can learn from the internet.

So guys who's with me? Lets get rid of this problem once and for all and make the world a better place.

Share this thread lets help the world.

And how's that ban working out?

If people want porn, they'll get it. Addiction doesn't know any bounds.

When it comes to children, porn shouldn't be on advertisements on any non-pornographic site, but I don't agree with more censorship than what we already have.

  3. I would love if we successfully banned porn from the internet, but as many may know it is not as easy as it sounds. Child pornography is illegal but surfing for porn for over 20 years I come across it a few times on normal free pornsites, even on youtube which is fucked up.

I still would want someone to try, bring back some innocence to our youth, if porn was illegal at least it would not be as wildly available, but stopping it completely would be really hard even if we set new laws each every country.

But im all for banning all porn.

Not necessarily. As long as you have the internet you will always have porn.

  5. Sorry but I'm not. Banning stuff is never the answer!

  7. Yeah a ban wouldn't work, I know a buddy in China where Facebook, YouTube and porn sites are blocked but they can override it by changing the VPN. What's helped me cure the porn addiction is to hate it, just like former smokers or alcoholics who choose not to drink anymore they have to associate it with bad things that have happened to them. For me, porn has fucked me up quite a bit and I can't see myself going back to the habits. I'm in the mindset now where watching porn is not an option, just like smoking is not an option for non smokers. So whether they ban it or not it doesn't make a difference for me because I choose not to watch it.

This is a topic that's always been difficult for me... It's really conflicting. Personally I believe that porn is immoral and can cause very serious problems, yet I'm against the government limiting people's certain freedoms. I honestly don't think anything that is institutionalized by the government is very effective.

We can see this in middle eastern countries where porn is illegal, even if you were caught viewing it you can be jailed. However, porn in the middle east runs more ramped than porn in western countries. I'm not a fan of government censorships in general. Recently a pop singer in Egypt was arrested for eating a banana in a provocative way in one of her music videos. She could be facing up to 21 years in jail, and some people were even advocating for the death penalty.

That kind of tyranny is what leads to fascism and extremism. I always believe that morality and ethics should be an individualized process, not an institutionalized order. If God himself doesn't impose on us how we should live and allows us to live in free will, who are we to control others.

That being said, people should be educated on the consequences of said free actions.

I also believe that modernism in the government is slowly killing western society. Some of you many disagree with me, but I see that western progressive culture is leading to a tyranny similar to the one in Egypt. They may have different set of values, but they both aim for the same goal, and that is censorship and institutionalization of "ethics". Or rather what is perceived to be ethical by that group.

There is a very thin line that someone could walk on before he finds himself on the extreme end of the spectrum of traditionalism or progressivism.

  9. You guys are overthinking about this situation what about not having any existing Porn sites anymore? What about banning them and if you really wanna use porn as a addict that you need to struggle to get on deepweb to reach Porn again this could be a simple answer for this guy nothing is impossible .

The issue is that solution isn't very realistic. I don't need to go into the deep web to find child pornography, it's actually fairly easy. Yet the government is doing many things to ban and delete those sites. Like I said before, as long as the internet exists you can literally have access to anything you want.

The only way we could get rid of this porn at this point is not completely wipe out any forms of technology.

Correct. But it is a step forward so we can help the younger generations to come. I believe the world is a better place without porn

  13. Its really childish to listen to adults beg for other adult s to police them. Basically youre saying youre not responsible enough to handle your issues and neither are other people so you want the government to limit your freedom so you dont fuck up. How bout encouraging people not to act like horny dogs and learn to control their impulses. If porn evaporated today everyone who indulged in porn would have the same over indulgent lustful tendencies and develop a fixation on something else. Then someone else who is unwilling to police themselves is gonna want whatever that is banned until we have no freedom. Shitty plan.

You are 100% correct. Porn should be banned so we can protect the younger generations to come. I dont want my child to face this P.M.O addiction because its really f***d up.

That's why it's up to you to teach him those values early on.

  16. I agree with this, but as you probably know yourself, "The very young do not always do as they are told". But it would help greatly, so would banning porn.

I can't remember where I first read this, but it always seemed like a very solid idea to me:

Instead of banning porn, we could restrict all porn sites to use ".xxx" domains. Companies or individuals who post porn on .com (.net, .org, etc) domains would get huge fines.

This way, you could still have porn accessible to whoever wants it, but you'd also make it much, much easier for software developers to create tools for blocking it.

Obviously it's not perfect, and you'd need full support and involvement from ICANN ... but I feel like it would satisfy both sides. The only people who'd aggressively oppose it are the ones who profit from creating new porn addicts.

You know kids. Even if you tell them, some might just say let me try it once or peer pressure could play a role here. Just as everyone out there who takes drugs/alcohol/cigarettes . Do you think their parents told them this stuff is good?

  19. How about teaching kids self love, self control and self discipline? You're not getting to the root of the problem by just banning it! It's like trying to get rid of a tree by just cutting off the branches!

I've accessed the Dark Web when I was 11. It's not hard at all. However, the gov't doesn't regulate that area.

Also, most drug abuse is banned in most countries, which once again shows that addiction doesn't know bounds, whether parental or governmental.

I don't get why people want the government to be their nanny. The gov't is there to protect the freedoms of its citizens, not parent each of their families.
