  2. The best thing I found when I feel an urge to PMO is to get away from all technology and do something, anything else to take your mind off of it. Go for a walk, clean the house, read a book, listen to music and dance around the house, do pushups, just get away from all technology and screens and get your mind on something else. Next thing you know the urge will pass.

I have to address issues in my life, porn is just an escape from my issues.

    What issues do/did I have?
    - 30s living with parents
    - no career
    - occasional social life
    - no dating life
    - not very fit
    - poor diet

I've been taking on a few at a time...............
Now after 5 years I have most of those fixed, still relapse from time to time, but am living a much healthier life.

Point is, you will reach a certain point where the justifications for it become just get less and less.

Doesn't have to take years, just depends on your situation and life goals!

I had a 25+ year PMO habit. I was like you, I could barely make it a week. I realized PMO was taking so much out of my life, business, marriage, self esteem, etc. I first made a firm decision to quit. I then wrote my goals and how I want to live my life on a piece of paper and I read them often. Anytime I am tempted, I jump on here and read and interact with others. I also joined a group in the "Accountability Partner" section. Just some things that helped me.
