Totally Agree I did have real life experiences a few years ago and was not at all great. I immediately stopped watching the porn and went to real woman again. But then over time I slowly went back to the trans stuff and got hooked again.
Since some people are born intersex or can get modern-tech surgery to look identical to a cisgender woman, it can be difficult or impossible to identify a transgender woman. If you want, you can try to date single moms instead since that might imply pregnancy and thus cisgender woman. But know that transgenders can have kids too, especially if they transitioned after becoming a father. You can also talk with the date's family who may be able to share her sex/gender at birth. I feel that there is nothing wrong with dating transgender women. But I suppose everyone has preferences.
