I'm on day 33 of my NoFap journey. Something strange happened last night. For some inexplicable reason I had a long sustained erection through most of the night and couldn't sleep properly. Does this indicate the flat-line phase is over? Today I am somewhat miserable and in need of some advice. I don't want to masturbate to end my current, hard-earned 34-day streak. But I'm now aroused most of the time and finding it incredibly difficult to concentrate on anything at the moment.

Should I go and see some hooker just as a quick fix? Escorting is legal in my country and this morning out of curiosity I browsed through several escort profiles on a website and found an attractive lady in early 40s who I find incredibly attractive. She's got excellent reviews. It's not a porn site but rather a directory. Any suggestions here? I feel lost. I think the fear of STDs is what's keeping me from meeting a hooker. I'm single and have always been an introvert. Dating is out of question for the time being owing to my preoccupation with with work and some graduate level engineering courses I'm taking for professional reasons.

It's been really difficult for me over the past couple of days, as I think my flatline phase has come to an end. I decided on not meeting an escort, though admittedly more out of my fear of catching some STD than anything else. I distracted myself with house chores, went out for a 1 hour long weekly shopping trip and started reading a book.

This is for the first time ever that I've even managed to hit day 34. I'm determined to hit the 90 day mark.
