Hello Everyone, I'm new to NoFap. I'm constantly masturbating everyday. I do it atleast 4 times a day. It has come to a point where my lower back and lower abdomen has started hurting. I think I have a masturbation/sex/porn addiction. I'm no longer interested in sex. I literally have to help myself to get erect. I think I have an ED. I'm quite scared. I don't know what to do. My hands are always on my penis. I keep tweaking it. I just become very depressed after masturbation. I stopped for 10 days and then relapsed. Couldn't stop it after. Honestly, I'm afraid. I don't know what to with my ED.

You are definitely masturbating way too much. No wonder you have pain in your lower back and lower abdomen. You are overusing those muscles. Yes, you have a porn and masturbation addiction but not sex addiction. You have lost interest in sex so no addiction there. If you truly want to recover from ED, you need to stop masturbating so much and to stop watching porn. Nothing to be afraid of. When you overuse anything, there will be consequences. That is always true. Porn and masturbation are messing with your head and your body. If you truly want to recover from ED, you need to give your body time to rest so stop looking at porn and stop masturbating. Take some time off of it and give your body a chance to recover. The problem with masturbating to porn is that porn gives you an unrealistic view of women and sex. You will start objectifying women and won't be able to see them as a whole person. Women are not supposed to be men's human fleshlight. I've been no PMO for over 35 days and I feel more alive and more vibrant. I have had just one bad experience with urges BUT I didn't look at porn or masturbate because of it. I sat down quietly, observed the massive urge, did nothing about it, just observe, and then let it go and it went away. For me, I put things in motion before I began my journey. I had no porn on my computer or on my phone. I deleted ALL porn bookmarks from my phone and my computer. I put a porn block on both my computer and my phone. I changed my search engine from Google, which even if you put SmartSearch on still lets some porn leak through and I set my computer and phone browsers to use the Swisscows search engine. Now I grant you, Swisscows is a strange name for a search engine, but it is family-friendly. Anyone can use it without any worry that porn will seep through. It doesn't allow porn ANYWHERE on its site. You can find Swisscows at www.swisscows.com and check it out. To me, when it comes to these addictions, you are either all in or you are all out. There is no in-between. Good luck Sorry for the novel LOL

It will take time and effort but it definitely works. You need the hard mode (No porn, no masturbation and no orgasm). I also had PIED, I'm not complitely cured, but I improved a lot in the past year. I was also unable to have erections without using my hands, Now I have random erections sometimes without touching my penis even after I slowed down my progres with many relapses. I still don't get the morning woods, and I'm still struggling with the PM addiction.

But it is not just me. A lot of men got rid of PIED with the hard mode, I remember them from other posts. I know is very hard to take the mind away from triggers, but you have to get control over yourself. whenever those thoughts come, don't indulge them fight against them instead. Don't let this addiction destroy your life.

Ah Yes. I will be starting my NoFap journey. I haven't done it for one full day. Hope I don't relapse. I need to control myself. Now I'm afraid I wouldn't have an erection when I have sex for real.

I don't fight the urges. I sit down, breathe in and out, observe them, feel them go through, and then let them go. I get away from my phone and computer and observe. It's very important when you have urges to get away from temptation. At least that is what works for me. I guess this is a form of meditation.

My story is pretty much similar to @elvagoazul . I’m almost one year of being in NoFap. I got a streak of 240 days. I’ve got a lot of improvements on my PIED, still not completely cured.

What I’ve noticed the most is veins that were not there before, I’ve been killing them for all these years (I’m 36).

Improvements are gradual and come slow. It’s nature. This is not something we can repair as a machine from one day to the other. But it’s impressive being able to see all these changes.

Right now I can get as hard as never before. Some random erections during the day. The most frequent for me is erections during the night. They get me awake but no complain about it, it’s nice to notice it. No morning woods, but feeling some vigor there in the mornings even if it’s not hardness. When I get hard still I don’t get it suspended, lifted completely. But it is more than before.

Also, there’s a lot you learn about yourself during the process. How you feel, how your body reacts in different situations. Getting out P images from the brain and finding how it is my real sexual self, acknowledging my authentic masculinity it’s been the best.

So, do it buddy. There’s a lot of good things expecting for you. Have all my support!
