    Hello,

I am 29 y/o and live in germany. 4 months ago I started a very strict diet (maybe a little too strict). Simultaneously I decided two do my 2nd reboot. The first one was about 14 months ago and lasted just for 2 weeks. Despite its short duration, it worked pretty good.
This time I was abstinent from any kind of stimulation, visual, phisical and mental. As many of You, I felt like getting some rest. I knew about the reboot stage in which things semm to become worse, so I was not really worried about it.
2 weeks ago I somehow ended up mastrubating again, but very soft and even almost without any sexual thoughts. The orgasm was very intense although the erection quality could have been better (what surprised me somewhat, cause this reboot lasted almost 8 times as long as the last one).
Yesterday I decided to do it again, but to my surprise the amount of sperm was less than I expected, and the orgasm felt interrupted. Almost like the feeling when you have to sneeze and just as you think it chappens it suddenly dissapears. I tried not to think about it and did it again today, but with the same result.
Further I still have no real sex drive.

Is this a bad sign? I have never read about this symptoms. I would be glad if someone of you guys has helpful tips or experiences to share.

Cheers (and sry for my poor english)

Yeah man I think I had similar experience in my early reboot, I would say doing nofap just once has led me onto needing to complete it and see it through fully. Because you've given yourself a taste of another world without regular PMO and you've actually saved on some of your juice its been absorbed by your body.

Eventually when you abstain long enough you'll grow new dopamine receptors and really enjoy smaller experiences, I think you need to allow yourself to fully rebooted if you want to feel at the same release power in fact itll be more powerful. Anyway this is just advice based on a few of my own experiences i m not a doctor or a scientist

Hey, thx for that quick reply.. I am willing to abstain and to my surprise it is easyer than expected. One thing I am concearned about is the point at which one is "healed", to call it like that. I am aware of the fact, that the process itself is what one should aim for, but I am not really sure how to realyze when I have reached the condition that one would call "normal again". In fact I have no idea and it may end up like now, that I question myself, if it is normal that I still do not have a consderable sex drive and start to test myself again (what in turn may destroy the whole progress achieved so far).

That period of low libido (sex drive) in which you are is called a "flatline." Not all men on no-PMO experience it (I didn't), but many do. It's normal. Don't worry about it. It passes. Don't fap just to test things out. That ruins everything by relapsing your reboot. I gather that you can know that you are "healed" from PMO addiction when you know that you have enough control that you have no doubt that you could continue permanently if necessary. When you reach that point, it is probably safe to resume a non-excessive pattern of responsible non-addicted MO without porn, if that is your wish. Some, on the other hand are aiming to permanently extinguish M or even both M and O. Some others, like me right now, are virtually rebooted, but don't know yet what we want for the long-term future.

So does just "testing" with porn ruin the progress made so far, or even without porn? I already feel like being able to continue permanently without porn, but not as if my libido would be normal again. I guess I will try not to worry why I am still in some kind of flatline after more than twelve weeks and just wait for the libido to come back. If it will not return in the next 3-5 months, I may consult a doctor.

Thx alot for the help so far. I will report here if anything changes (good or bad). Keep it up guys!

No problem, I'd say you can start to assume you're 'healed' when you can feel the benefits that many talk about in a more sustained way. Also you can assume you'll be healed after 90 days typically, but its subjective. Ideally creating new habits consistently keeping up with them is a sign of healing.

It depends on how you define it for yourself. My first streak was quite pain free too, a little bit too pain free and got me questioning whether I was rebooting right, on this current streak I feel more of what the others of the forums say in terms of withdrawal flatline etc. You have to define for yourself how you feel during this journey.

No, it won't ruin all of your progress, but it might make you lose some of your progress in mental rewiring. It could also cause you to get excited and give in to MO. Your goal should be zero porn, even after you're completely done with rebooting. Once completely rebooted off the PMO addiction, returning to some MO can be acceptable if that's what you want. If you set a date to return to MO, your libido should rise a week or more prior to the arrival of that date. Mental anticipation kindles libido.
