35m ...I would say I have struggled with PMO for almost 10 years .

Never nofaped longer than 2 weeks but this time, it's gonna be the final time and I want to get it done.

I am trying to get rebooted but my main problem is that "normally" a porn scene would normally make me aroused. Now, just watching TV and I get aroused by a chick in a commercial or just a Instagram chick who is in a dress. Or a some chick walking in high heels.

Then it slips to me seeing it googling "more" of this and then the woman gets lesser and lesser in what their wearing that bam...I'm looking at full porn.

I went exactly to this "porn" step but caught myself and didn't masterbate. I just realize that all my relapses work in this way.

Is this normal process of rebooting where "simpler" things begin to arouse you?

  2. Hey Bruce,

I am right there with you. I use to play a game that demonstrated how easy you could switch from something innocent to something porn related. I called it "Six Degrees of Porn". You would type something bland like 'black balloons' into Google image search, and proceed to click the show more options under a photo you think is more like porn compared to the others, go to that new search and repeat the steps until you dreams are fulfilled. In the beginning the steps are quite vague (that picture has a person in it where all the others are just balloons) then get more specific. The query results are very responsive and quickly become highly sexual and extremely graphic. If someone checked your browsing history it would look like all you did was look at pics of balloons / oh so clever.

I am aroused by everything, and act on my desires on a whim. I have found keeping a journal is very helpful in reviewing what my motivations were when I fell back into bad habits.
