Guess what I did today

I used to fly kites when I was a kid. Not anymore.
Btw, you weren't flying the kite you were holding the camera and recording.lol

 

I don't know how to fly kites. I used to tell my friends to get it up high in the sky, and used to take it from there.

When I was a small boy. Me and my dad were on the beach flying a kite.
Clouds started to darken and it wasn't a very hot day but warm.

My dad just started reeling in the kite and said let's get back to the car.
I didn't realise at the time why we so hastily had to finish.

But he told me afterwards that he started to feel static on his hands and feet and knew that he was probably going to get shocked if he carried on.

Wasn't long after we got back in the car lightning started striking the air!
