Haircut fetish/ severe addiction

This is one fetish I’ve never heard of. You learn something new every day.

Should you keep the job? I’d say yes if it’s your only source of income. Go find a new job first and then quit this one if you really want out. You don’t want to put yourself in a situation where you have no money to support yourself.

Perhaps you could keep the job and learn to keep those urges under control. Maybe a psychologist could walk you through how to accomplish that.

 

Don't worry about it. I have a foot fetish but that hasn't affected my ability to work in a shoe shop. In time you will learn to control these urges.

I think that the fetish is not a problem as long as you are able to keep some distance and keep it inside your head. Personally I think that a fetish can be a chance because it can make the world wonderful and motivating where other people would find it only dull and boring. Enjoy your fetish and live with them, but please, avoid that they take everything in your life.

 

Since the fetish is kind of taking over your life, you just need to reign it in. We all have different turn ons etc. Next time, try not to be so silent through it all, like compliment the lady getting the haircut, on how beautiful her hair is. If we are vocal about what we find attractive, then it has a far lesser risk of perverting into something that becomes a hindrance to us.
Also as for sexual orientation, that is up to u to decide, you can admire beautiful hair and still be straight as hell, also vice versa, honestly your fetish sounds gender neutral. You just seem to really like beautiful hair
If it persists being a problem, try to seek out behavioural therapy, or maybe just regular therapy too to better understand where this unique attraction of yours comes from.
From my personal experience, self control over our sexuality in a nut shell means, to know where it is ok to let the things that turn us on be our focus of attention. We can't or rather it isn't in the best of our interest to live life solely to satisfy one facet of our being, when there is so much more beauty and life in this world to appreciate and learn from. So basically, just work on controlling your turn-on without getting stressed about it.

First post...thanks in advance for understanding. I'm an assistant in a salon as well who can (and have) watch hours and hours of salon services, especially when the cameras pan to the shampoo bowl. Seeing a gorgeous lady covered in lather enjoying her head massage leads to an immediate feeling of excitement. When they are in a dress and heels with legs crossed, it throws the excitement into overload, so I guess the list of my fetishes isn't narrowed to one.
I'm able to focus on the job at hand, so much so that clients make appointments just to experience my magic hands.
