This week has been really good, except for getting productive things done each day. Curse you Pokemon Go. So I will give myself a 9.5/10.

  2. Nice.

Started The Navy SEAL Art of War. Going to be reading books daily as a goal for the rest of the month. Will update once this one is finished.

My training routine right after meditation and breakfast is going great. Can't wait until it solidifies into an unbreakable habit.

When I said this wasn't helpful guys, I meant coming to this forum is not going to be helpful for me in the long run (beyond say several months). The very fact I'm logging onto a porn and masturbation forum regularly is not good for my mind in the long term I have an irking sense. Porn is still on the mind in a sense, as Gary Wilson once said. I love you guys and won't quit or abandon you, and will still be active for the next few months.

    Update
I've found that giving my phone to my parents is the best thing I can do. When I'm usually going to relapse, I wander around by my bed with my phone, but without my phone, I find zero reason to even be close to my bed and I've found myself being more productive and occasionally not knowing what to do with my time. It's a strange feeling, but a good one. I've also been spending a lot more time talking and being with my girlfriend a lot more, and it's really pushing the importance that I get this addiction out of the way fast. I feel like PMO has caused me to find her less attractive, and that's incredibly unfair to her. I can't do that to her. Time is ticking, and I need this addiction out of the way ASAP. If there was any time for me to get serious, it would be now.

As for what I've been doing recently, I've been practicing piano a lot and have been getting some good reading done. I'm still trying to minimize my YouTube usage and I'm still trying to find the perfect sleep schedule. I did however relapse yesterday because I couldn't get over how I wasn't physically attracted to my girlfriend as much as I thought I was, but it was also yesterday that I started realizing maybe it was because I have an unrealistic standard because of PMO. And so now here I am. I need this out of the way. If it means getting rid of the internet for a solid week, then I'll do it. If it means posting on the Wall everyday, I'll do it. I need this out of my life NOW. The sense of urgency has never been so strong, it's honestly terrifying how badly I need to get it together. I need out of this.
That's it from me. I have A LOT to work on and I'm trying my best. Thanks for listening.

  10. Weekly Goals Update

Going to be starting this book and will continue coconut oil pulling daily along with the other ongoing daily habits I've been working on:

The $100 Startup: Reinvent the Way You Make a Living, Do What You Love, and Create a New Future

    http://draxe.com/

Learn how to do coconut oil pulling. I'll also share about the benefits of doing oil pulling.

In order to oil pull, take two teaspoons of sesame, coconut, or olive oil and lightly swoosh in your mouth for 10- 20 minutes a day.

It's been shown to help tooth decay, bleeding gums, naturally whiten teeth, strengthen your jaw muscles, cleanse your mouth, kill bad bacteria, and even support weight loss.

Afterwards, you're going to spit the oil out, rinse your mouth out with water, and brush your teeth as normal. Perform this routine for two weeks every day, and then just twice a week.

For a full guide on how to do coconut oil pulling, check out this in-depth article here: http://draxe.com/coconut-oil-pulling/

    Oh man.

Here's the thing: I haven't been doing great with this challenge. Not at all.

I like to try and be an example to the Heirs, but in this regard I have failed thus far. And I have failed myself, as when this challenge started I was so pumped up. It seems that I am not the only Heir who hasn't kept up with the challenge unfortunately.

I have been very busy indeed this month. I work 60+ hours a week, and I met a girl I really like and we've been going on dates and all that. So there is some good in all of this disappointment.

There is good news though! There is still a week and a half left in July. So. Time to make the change.

    Thanks everybody, for kicking ass.

    All the best,
    Grindel

  12. That's awesome to hear!

60+ hours a week sounds like hell, I hope you need the money that bad or perhaps you are absolutely passionate about what you do. Either way, let's hope there will come a time when 40 hours is more than enough to thrive.

Not problem man, the challenges are to help, but life is busy at times! Next month I am bringing back the grateful challenge which will be a lot easier for busy schedules!

So I did alright last week, was really productive on Friday and Saturday, but then sat playing Fallout Shelter for 7 hours on Monday before being productive that night. I deleted it for the 6th time now. Stupid games. And I knew better when I downloaded it again. Part of this challenge reminded me that I really want to get better at thinking long term rather than just doing what makes me feel good in the moment. Anyway, I give myself a 9.5/ 10 for the week.

    Smol Update
It's been pretty rough. There are times when I need my cell phone when I'm driving out just in case I need it for an emergency, but when I get home, I have a tendency to relapse BECAUSE I know that I have the option to, and for whatever reason, I usually do. In the end, it's about me choosing to be clean and taking the steps needed to be clean. On the bright side, Youtube usage is lowered, I only use the Internet between 3:00 and 6:00, I've been socializing with my friends and planning meetups a lot more. At the very least, I'm not browsing the Internet as much, but I still have to keep to my goals. College is coming and I'm going to be on my own. I have to fix this for myself and for my girlfriend.

I haven't been doing great this week, procrastinating, skipping workout sessions (lower body workouts), relapsing ...

Sorry I haven't posted my progress every week.

So this whole month has been pretty bad. I relapsed after my breakup and just felt overall terrible for a good two weeks. But..I have been sticking to a solid workout routine, being available to my family and hanging with my friends more. As far as goals I set out for earlier this month I'm doing alright. Im not procrastinating anymore and I'm eating healthier. Also I'm working out consistently but Sadly not studying like I should which is something I plan to fix.

The plan is to just finish up this month on a high note

  18. Blindsided by painting projects at a house I'm working at, reading time frame is messed up due to it so my last update for the month is to finish The Navy SEAL Art of War and begin The $100 Startup before August.

Otherwise we are still uprooting the abominable weeds of mindless, defiled, wretched, and discomfort escape mode self absorbed mindstates that allow one to even entertain a serious thought of masturbation, to porn nonetheless.

A cute Yoga enthusiast liked a bunch of my stuff on Facebook the other day. Totally motivating. I don't want to be single I've decided. Time to get my life in order and become husband material.

  19. Dude, you need to find moderation with the games.

I used to be addicted to WoW years ago. Also played The Elder Scrolls like it was my job.

It's not the games that are stupid, it's our inability to play them in moderation.

I got a crap ton of productive stuff down yesterday! I have a few things to do today as well, but then it mainly becomes preparing to move and start grad school in a few weeks. As far as the week goes, I'll give myself a 9.5/10 again.

I do need to find more moderation with games. That is kind of a theme in my life: Finding moderation.
This week I want to organize my stuff better, work on my budget more, write down what I want to watch, read, and buy in the future.
