I just wanted to introduce myself to the community. After been reading about PMO related topics unregularly for the last few months i decided today to Sign Up here to set a Starting Point to my Personal Journey.
My main Goal for the Beginning is to ban especially P from my Life. So Relapsing on this should be analyzed more deeply than M. Stopping M is also a goal, even though the main Focus is on P. I won't make any differences between M with or without Edging. In the Past, this have been an Excuse for to many times.
I will Start with a 21-Days-Challenge and planning to expand it to 90 Days.

I hope, that i can Contribute to the Community from now on.
Does anybody have Ideas how the Ideas of NoFap could be transferred to Other Addictions ? Starting today leads me to thinking about other "Devils" such as Smoking and binge Drinking....Is stopping all of it together overtaxing me ? Better Step by Step ?

Sorry for my English, i am not a native speaker.

    Welcome to the Nofap community.
The NO PMO journey is not easy but worth the effort.
    The community will support you.

I agree. Therefore edging is considered as relapse. Some fapstronauts say, edging is worse than masturbation.

    Great decision! Enjoy the journey!

Thank you for the Welcome. I Know it ain't easy, even though i have decided to go on these journey. Have been watching a lot of youtube-stuff in my language today. I had sometimes a time of unplanned NoFap (e.g. Holidays...) but this time it is my personal decision.

These Fapstronauts are right, i've been edging in the few months sometimes and always used it as an excuse. So understand, why some people consider it as worse. PM goes in the Brain as much PMO does.
At least a Beginner Question: How do I integrate a Journal in my Profile ?

  5. Heyyy welcome to the NoFap forum : ) It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!

    Here is just some advice:

First and foremost please take a look at each section in the forum, there might be something(s) you may find of big help to you. Feel free to post there :+)

Then secondly I just strongly advise you to be active on your profile(as there quite a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then make daily status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement. They've also got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see. People will find your profile and give you encouragement/support.

People (are beginning to) love communicating in the profilesection..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive talk. It would be great to have you join in and support others in the threads, profiles, and journal. Make sure and be grateful for the help you received and help after receiving some. Invest in some people's journeys. We could always use your help and in return you shall receive some as well!

Thirdly, You should also highly consider creating a public journal and write about your days in more depth for us members to follow along your journey and offer support to you by way of posting in your journal.

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!

Hello there, all the best in your new journey! I also just started and going to pass one week mark, it's worth it, it's not just quitting porn but also discovering other parts of life that were obscured by porn addiction.

Good question. I put my journal in the forum of my age group and the link in my signature. Obviously there are other possibilities.

Found it. You can insert it in your Account Settings. There is possibility to insert a link to your Journal at the "Personal Details"-Section.
