You know how sometimes you have cravings and you really don't care about the consequences? This is what happened to me. It is very aggravating, because during and immediately after, I felt no remorse. I feel pretty bad now though. This is my first reset, but I did make it past 2 weeks.

When you have the cravings that over power you, how do you make it stop?

Get an AP--when you've got cravings, you have someone you can reach out to and talk you back from the ledge (so to speak). Have a plan. It really depends a lot on your particular circumstances and what triggered you to reach out to PM. You can take a cold shower, too...a lot of guys are afraid of this counter-measure, but it has really worked for me to jolt me out of the cravings/urges. Of course, I have to have something planned for after the shower, or else I can get right back into the cravings if I don't change my surroundings/circumstances. I'd have to know more to give more specific advice...that's what I think a good AP can do for you.

I will have to try the cold shower thing. Usually, there are certain things I can do to stop it, but this time, I didn't want to. It was weird. I was determined to PMO and nothing was going to stop me. I don't what caused this.

First of all you didn't fail. You just relapsed. Even since you clicked reset, you still have only PMO'd once in the last two weeks, which I bet is much lower than your average from before you started this. So good work.

I have little in the way of advice for how to overcome cravings. It feels like such a fucking struggle every day. Just realize that even with your relapse you're in a better place today than you were two weeks ago.
