I started to do fap-like behaviour since 5th grade. Although I cannot ejaculate semen at that time, I always get the feel of orgasm. Ever since then, I started to do that daily because I feel good, up until 9th grade, at which point I feel I started to have premature ejaculation. I reduced the masturbation frequency to 3 times a week, but things seems to get worse. I start to watch porn more, like one time a day. When I entered college, I gained more freedom, I watched more porn and fapped even more.

Right now, I ejaculate 10 seconds after I start to masturbate. However, I have completely no problem for having an erection, and it was like 9/10. Also, there is one part on my penis that is extremely sensitive, like 4 times more sensitive than my glans. Even if I am staying away from PMO, that sensitive part would keep on arousing me. I have thought about sex for about 6~7 times a day. When I close my eyes and about to sleep, it is sexual things that are flying in my head. Could y'all please give me some advice? Any help would do. Thank you so much!

Stopping porn and masturbation can definitely help with PE.

In short, the overload of stimuli from porn and excessive masturbation can wire your brain to ejaculate really quickly. Stopping PMO for 90 days in a hardmode reboot and rewire can help bring you back to normal.

HOWEVER, PE only counts if it happens during sex. Most guys can get themselves off in less than a minute, especially with porn. We just know our bodies that well. Most PMO abusers find they have the opposite of PIPE, which is PIED. I suggest you try having sex, oral sex, or manual stimulation by a partner before you diagnose your PIED. In any case, quit the porn, it's bad for you

I have not practiced semen retention and cannot say anything about its supposed effects. To me, SR has always seemed like a spiritual or metaphysical act that somehow has direct influence on the physical mind and body, and even though I am religious, I do not believe it works.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the logic of SR goes something like this: Refrain from ejaculation forces your body to regather your sexual and masculine energy and aura. This helps you shrug off PIED, PIPE, bothersome fetishes, low sex drive, and more. You will also see improvements in your mental focus/work ethic, confidence, and stature. In addition, other people, especially women, will be able to unconsciously sense this uptick in masculine and sexual energy, and will seem more interested in you, more attracted to you, and will give you more respect.

I don't believe in the metaphysical or spiritual side of SR. HOWEVER, if you are a serious PMO abuser, you almost certainly...
    • have PIED, PIPE, low libido, desires for extreme sex acts, and other porn induced sexual issues
    • have trouble concentrating on work/school, no long term plans or goals
    • get little to no exercise and are in poor physical shape
    • experience social anxiety, especially with women, and no one seeming romantically or sexually interested in you
    • feel worthless, unimportant, and possibly depressed
Porn addiction researchers are able to connect all of these issues to porn use. Check out these articles below:

Are my sexual problems (ED, DE, low libido) related to my porn use?

Studies linking porn use or porn addiction to sexual dysfunctions, lower arousal, and lower sexual & relationship satisfaction

Is porn making my social anxiety/confidence/depression/anxiety/OCD/bipolar worse?

Can porn use blunt my emotions?

Can porn use affect memory and concentration?

Neuroscience-based studies on porn users and sex addicts

Studies linking porn use to poorer mental-emotional health & poorer cognitive outcomes

It's pretty set in stone that porn can cause a host of sexual and psychological issues.

SR seems to help many of these guys get over their issues. There are many positive correlations in your life when you stop ejaculating and refrain from sexual stimulation.

However, the correlation is indirect. SR doesn't "store up" more sexual energy in your body, allowing you to last longer. PMOing all the time has trained your brain to try and cum as quickly as possible, so when you stop, you don't have PE anymore. When doing SR women can't "sense" your sexual aura and are more interested in you. They probably were before and your porn brain just didn't notice, or now that you're not constantly satisfied you actually make an effort with women.

Some people really improve their lives through their belief in SR, and that's great for them. Carry on. It shares many attributes with research done to heal individuals with porn addictions. However, some of the beliefs of SR get in the way of proper healing, socialization, and sexual positivity. Additionally, since SR is more or less a very unregulated religious practice, there are may "cults/sects" of people following charismatic leaders whose advice may not always be right or well-intended, some of it's practices and beliefs are altered or out right changed to adhere to certain racist, homophobic, and other discriminatory views, and at the end of the day, it's effects are not falsifiable.

Therefore, I do not recommend SR to anyone. There is proven evidence that certain practices can help you with your issues. You do not need SR to do so. If it works for you, that's great for you. But you don't necessarily "need it" in order to heal. Check out these science based articles to understand porn addiction and how to heal.
