sounds like your in a flat line and your body and mind are trying to readjust to not having constant stimulation from PMO. I would say stick with it, keep yourself busy, read a book or something, otherwise you'll slip right back into old habits and we all know where that road goes. Also has their been any benefits that you have notices during that 40 days? maybe more clarity of mind or something? I've only gotten to day 30 like once or twice in the 4 years I have been trying to quit.
40 days is awesome. The timeline is different for everyone, I think the average flatline for people is 1 to 3 months but some people have it for a year or longer. How long did you use PMO? Regardless of the damage done, it will be fixed over time
So, my overall story. I never masturbated until I was 18 or 19. I lost my virginity (on thanksgiving 2006 actually). Keep yourself practicing those things and you won't be bored all the time, you have to fill that void that PMOing left. It sounds like you got a good start and are interested in things, so just keep at it.
