Hey so lately I have literally felt bloated due to so much semen retention, I don't want to PMO but I would not consider a nocturnal emission as a relapse/reset.
It doesn't rewire your brain the same way M does.
I personally don't think I have ever had a wet dream and being in my later teens this is odd, I guess I just masturbated as soon as I felt the urge when I was younger?

Will I ever be able to have a wet dream? When can I expect one and how can I speed up the process a bit?

Would you all consider induced wet dreaming to be a relapse?

  3. It's not at all odd that you haven't yet had a wet dream, even being an older teen. I think this is actually more common than having wet dreams are just because of the fact that most people in their late teens masturbate, and they have been since pretty much the onset of puberty.

A wet dream is simply the body's mechanism for releasing old unused semen to make space for new semen. I know it can feel like you're going to explode when you've been on a long streak like that, but that's a good sign. Right about now is when you should start expecting wet dreams to happen. Typically, from what I've seen, wet dreams usually happen anywhere from day 20 to day 50, but rarely outside of that range.

I haven't had a wet dream yet either, and I know it can be tempting to try to speed up the process, both out of curiosity and because you just want to finally have a release. Trust me, I get it. I'm seventeen right now, and I haven't ever had a wet dream either. But, with that being said, don't try too hard just to induce one! You're much better off just being patient with it, and letting nature take it's course. You don't want to interfere with that, and risk the possibility of making yourself more vulnerable to relapse.

Also, when and if a wet dream does happen, be very cautious of the chaser effect! For the few days following it, you will have stronger urges, and this can lead back to relapse if you aren't being vigilant and watching out for it.

Hope this helps, and good luck! :D

  5. I know! It's mildly annoying. I totally get why you would want to just finally have one, I definitely do. But I also understand that trying to induce one like that is like playing with fire. It's just not a good idea, patience is key. :D

I'd say don't worry about it. It'll happen if/when it happens. You don't have any control over 'em, they just happen. I know how you feel being in PMO mode and kinda' wanting one 'cause MO is off the table. And no, it's not a reset or relapse if it happens. Stay strong.

It's definitely a sign that you are fixing your mental, physical and biological problems. It's very normal my friend. If you don't masturbate for a while which means your body will produce sperms any way, 10 days or 2 weeks later your body will ejaculate it. That's all.
I think it's good that you don't masturbate. You are being relaxing automatically by your body.

  10. definitely not. you have no control over it. if we are going to declare relapse over things we have no control over I might as well say I relapse when my neighbor does PMO.

I've tried everything man from caffeine, sleeping certain ways, thoughts and different underwear. Nothing but feeling more frustrated. I've gotten close a few times but actually blocked myself in my dream of acting out with self. I feel the same way as you. I started playing with myself at 7 or 8 and took a different path of maturing outside of the norm. The closest I have gotten have been dreams of me sucking myself with a really really long one. I wish I could control them but that's the SA in me.
