Hey Everyone,

We want to try a challenge that promises better results.
For now, that should be a 30-day challenge that starts by Monday Next week (19.12.22).
Suggestions Welcome ↓

Objective:
- NoFap
- No Porn

Rules:
- Check in every day and answer these four things (short answers are sufficient, but if desired, answers can be as long as you like)
1. Did you sustain your abstention?
2. How intense are your current urges?
3. What have u done to handle these urges?
4. How do you feel in general?
5. Find one motivational quote, meme, image, etc. you would like to share.
- In a separate post to the check-in, also feel free to share anything useful you would like to share for nofap.

Organization:
- In the instance that you relapse, your name will be added to the legend with the number of days you reached.
- In the instance where you reach the full 30 days, you can be proud of yourself, and we might collectively decide to extend the challenge and/or open for entries again for the folks that relapsed.

Signup:
- Checkin for day Zero by answering the four questions above for the first time
- Set your abstention counter to start to midnight today.

Background/Rational:
By making this an experience that is as collaborative, interactive, and self-reflective as possible, we expect better results for the participants than with a mere habit-tracking-like challenge.

Suggestions:
If there are any suggestions about how we could make this an even more effective experience, feel free to bring them forward also in this threat. Be sure to make suggestions before Monday, as the challenge should stay consistent over time to make it easy to follow through.

I'm in. Rules sound great so far and i like the idea of sharing motivational quotes/images/videos, gives me an incentive to seek them out myself and try and find good ones.

Currently on day zero, so my challenge starts now, but im happy to start this challenge officially on Monday.

  • Felt just a very minor one when I browsed Instagram and saw a bikini pic

2. How intense are your current urges?
  • Saw a girl in the gym today with a nice ass. Thankfully the urge to have actual sex was larger than just jerking off.
3. What have u done to handle these urges?
  • Recognize the urge and the cause of the urge; then decided that I prefer actual sex over masturbation and that porn and masturbation make me socially awkward and unconfident; therefore pushing me farther away from social goals.
4. How do you feel in general?
  • Feeling all right today, slept too long which is a disappointment for me, and had a minor fight with my girlfriend.

I was searching too long on this quote/image yesterday that I had to leave my computer without posting. Now, here my post!

  • Had just mild urges to have sex today. Thinking of my girlfriend (we are having some difficulties). This occasionally has the potential to transcend into urges to masturbate and watch porn.
3. What have u done to handle these urges?
  • Recognize the urge and the cause of the urge;
4. How do you feel in general?
  • Feeling very good even though I have difficulties with my girlfriend. Keeping the attitude up that I have to be a good man to be successful in whatever I want to be.

2. Definitely. Addiction talking to me and making excuses. As well as a few actual urges, a general background desire the rest of the day. Had to rely on willpower today, for the first time.
3. Reminded myself that the feelings will pass, which they did. Eventually.
4. Glad i made it over the first proper challenge i have faced.
