After 9 days...going so strong. Not having any urges at all...got off the phone with my girlfriend and just fell into it. Twice. Probably one of the worst feelings i have ever had. Now the shame is going to haunt me as i have to reset my counters....tell my girlfriend after telling her how confident and 100% i was i can make 1 month easy. Wow. Im so ashamed and Disappointed in myself its unreal. I felt so good with all of this, my confidence rose so high.

Hi jminchew.. Don't let you down!.. The second week is a very difficult one: you start to feel confindent, you low your guard a bit and then the urges hit you stronger than ever! During the first month it is normal to have incredibly strong urges.. It seems that nothing is changing, but sooner or later they will start to go away! Next time you won't fail! For you and for your girlfriend!

The worst thing to be told is that it's okay because in your head, you always say "No... it's not okay" which is good because it's not. BUT, at the same time know that failure happens, it's a part of finally succeeding. You need to learn as much as you can from each time you fail so that you can use it against the next possible failure (if possible). It's not the end of the world, just try and do better than your last and eventually you will beat this!

I relapsed yesterday on 9th day too, so i guess that is a breaking point. I really want to go 30 days without it too. We can make it for sure.

Everyone has relapses, the important thing is how you handle them. Learn from this, remember the shame, the guilt, the embarrasmebt etc. And remember those feelings when you're about to relapse again so that you dont. Stay strong!

the simple fact is you didn't waste them. yes your counter reset, and that does suck, but I hope you have learned from this experience.
the next time you have an urge small or big you can remember the feeling you have today and let that fuel you to not give in. stay strong man, its not weather you slip up but rather if you quit that is the true failure!
