There comes a point where you realize that you’re no longer following the path of forebearance, and just beginning to count days for a sense of pride. If you’re done with the addiction, and you have recognized some higher value in life that you staunchly commit to, I see little meaning in continuing with the same level of intensity and attachment to principle that was necessary when first starting nodal. Know when to stop, otherwise you’ll burn yourself out, feeding a cycle that no longer exists. For me, this occurred from 65 days, and I feel as though I do not need to stream hours of motivational videos or spend too much effort getting on this site to log my achievements day by day. All I need now is a bit of discipline to brush up my mind, monitor my thoughts, and entreat honest answers for myself. This is a distinction made from restraint, mind you; I have thoroughly rejected the idea of relapse and instead am living a cleaner, less dissolutioned way of life (thanks to my efforts in moral).
