    Hey there. My introduction:

I'm aged 50, been seriously trying to give up porn for about 5 years now. Tried a few ways, and have been moderately successful the last two years, only relapsing 3 or 4 times. However I've relapsed 6 times in the last 5 months and am a little worried. So I'm here.

Since I started having sex at the age of 18 always suffered from delayed ejaculation(basically, you can stay hard and aroused a long time, but can't cum....no its not as nice as you think) . It would be better or worse depending on the partner, I learned how to please a woman okay, and had some long relationships. However as I got older and more into porn, I realised it was worsening. When I began to seriously free myself from porn I noticed I could cum faster.

Which brings me to today. Been married 9 years then split up for 3 years. Today I am back with this lady, who I love a lot, our sex life could use some improvement but I desperately don't want to use porn as an escape.

    That's briefly my story.

One thing I wanted to say: it's inspiring, this website. This kind of info was hard to find online 10 years ago when I looked into masturbation/porn addiction. So thanks.

@threemonkeys embarking on NoFap at 50! Serious respect. And 6 times in 5 months is in no way newbiesh.

Inspiring to know that your back with your companion and have decided to improve your relationship. Sharing exoeriences with friends here is the norm and am sure you'll find a lot to relate to. I envy the latest generation of here because of the opportinuty to educate themselves about porn before it becomes an all encompassing obsession. Hoping y stay clean and are able to meet your goals. Keep fighting!
