low point right now...

    I haven't been able to gain any momentum lately. Even a week seems so out of reach right now. Seems like every 2 - 4 days I relapse.

    Relapsed a few minutes ago, and as I was doing it part of me was trying so hard to stop but its like I was in a trance.

    Im in a bit of a dry spell with women right now too - I even lied about it to my friend because I was embarrassed. Im not doing the habits I've set out that lead to my success either.

    Basically I need to get my shit together and get back in rhythm!

    I know things will get better.

    things will get better, just stick with it.

    if youre relapsing every few days you need a change in approach from whatever youre doing. as said above, revist your motivation for this and let it charge you up

    I went out last night. Got kinda drunk. I feel a bit drained to be honest, almost a sexual. Can't wait till that drive kicks back in. Need to get over the 7-14 day hump and everything becomes easier.

    Yes, the very first days are often the hardest since you feel like you don't have much to lose since your streak is so short. I know the feeling, i spent over a year only passing a week once or twice. You have to recognize that constantly relapsing after a few days really adds up to A LOT of days of pmo addiction. I recommend you change your lifestyle totally. Before my current streak that's what i did. I kept going to the gym and being disciplined and kept studying and keeping up with my schoolwork. Usually during my nofap challenges i would still be lazy in other areas and this time i wasn't. That's why when i relapsed on porn i didn't feel totally ruined, i had a decent gym streak and good grades to keep my mood up so i didn't feel like i hit rock bottom. That helped me immediately jump into new streaks after a relapse.

  7. Trust me mate, I've been there....wayyyy too long. Here's an honest lesson I learned : things get better, but only when we choose for them to get better. I know what it's like, that feeling of helplessness and complete lack of control that accompanies these frequent relapses. But the truth is, if we are PMOing every few days, then this isn't multiple relapses, this is just One BIG relapse.
    So try to understand that all you have to do, is get back up from One relapse; this whole phase that you have been in.
    Another little honest lesson : Nothing can hold you down so long as you choose to get back up. And even if it is 3-4 days, as a matter of FACT, you are getting back up.
    Just clear your head, deep breaths, and be clear and honest in your resolve : You Can and Will Succeed. :) It's not gonna be easy, but hell, we aren't toddlers who can't handle a challenge :D
    Buck up, and think positive thoughts mate. It's so easy to fall into self-loathing and self-hate from all this, but the part that requires effort is to forgive yourself for a fall from personal standard (in this case, not PMOing) and realise that despite being as fallible as can be, we are not defined by our mistakes - even wilful ones - What defines a person is who he or she chooses and consciously strives to be. :)
    So get back up brother, we're all here to defeat the same enemy that's been picking on you recently. You're not alone in this fight, so let's kick this PMO shit in the nuts together. :D
