Lurked for awhile, but finally joined. Hello all.

I had been a fairly consistent PMO'er from probably freshman year of high school until my senior year of HS when I met my first girlfriend. She ended up being my first both sexually and that I fell in "love" with. We dated for about 2 years and ended up breaking up after my freshman year in college. It started when I began feeling some depression due to some things at home. PMO became my outlet at school and ultimately lead to the downfall of that relationship. I specifically remember coming home during breaks and brushing away all sexual advances because I had desensitized myself. (Of course I realize what was happening now, I didn't then.) After that breakup is when my PMO got chronic. Almost every night I would PMO then go to sleep. i did this until my senior year in college.

I began to notice that I wasn't even happy after I finished. And that I needed more hardcore porn to get off. I knew something was wrong so I began to research; that's when I found NoFap. I lurked for over a year. Not really taking it seriously, but knowing there was something to it. I guess that was the addiction part taking over. After a failed relationship that consisted of no sex due to my inability, I decided I was going to do this thing for real. I started off with no P as I figured that was the most damaging part of this whole thing. Then I met a girl whom I really really liked. I wanted (needed) to see results faster, so here I am, 31 days into hard mode. I am in a full fledged flatline and not sure when it's going to pass. I'm holding out though...just worried how long she will hold out.

I joined this community because I'm looking for support, and to support others when I am able give it. I want my love life back and I want my current relationship to flourish both physically and emotionally.
