This isn't the first time this has happened but I wasn't on a streak either.

I went to bed in underwear, and I woke up at a random point in the night to find out that I took off my underwear and I was masturbating. I stopped once I realized what was happening, of course.

I'm just curious if this has happened to any of you before, and if you would consider it grounds for a reset.

  2. I would not count it as a relapse. See, you stopped immediately once you got back to contiousness. That shows that you succeeded in getting your behavior under control. What I rather find intersting is what could be the cause for this? Is this some form of sexsomnia/sleeping sex? Does anyone know?

It's interesting that you asked that because that's exactly what I was thinking, this seems like some form of sexsomnia.

I have this issue as well. I'm an pretty much spot on with my willpower and can avoid most every trigger during the day no problem. But at night around 3:30 or 4 I wake up and I feel like my body has been shot up with a syringe full of testosterone -- I have an almost painfully hard erection and have woken up a number of nights in the middle of M. I try to get back to sleep but its often physically hard with the erection and also hard to relax as I'm shot up with energy. I've posted about this but any help would be appreciated.

  5. It’s normal. Just keep going and it will get less and less over time.

  6. Once I woke up, I found my fist tightly in an area close to my tool. That was a PMO dream. This is proof of the subconscious is craving.I think the symptom will decrease over time.Just stop when you catch yourself doing this and don't think too much about it.

I can't offer much advice beyond the fact that yes, this has happened to me in the past too. It really causes a lot more mental strife than a true nocturnal emission, I was unsure what to make of it at the time but ultimately decided not to treat it as a relapse.
