Plus I personally think a fetish is dangerous when the lines of consent are blurred. What if there's a night you want to sleep but do not want to be fucked? my husband and i have established boundaries and things like that to indicate nights that it would have been ok for our "sleep" thing.
(For example not necessarily what we do but certain nightwear could be worn to indicate that it is ok for that night)

I am not sure if the original poster is completely having sex while the SO is asleep, but if that is something they both still consent to after a full reboot then go for it.
