Morning woods

I'm also 41 and only recently noticed this. I'm having problems sleeping and have had for a while and don't think this helps the whole morning wood scenario.
Have you had all the blood tests etc? I was convinced I had low testosterone but my results were on the high side in the end. So I just now live in hope that going NoFap will bring it back. If not in the morning but when I need it.

 

I'm ten years older than you guys (aka. one foot in the grave!), but I used to have morning wood almost daily until a few years ago when my PM problem took a major turn for the worse, and eventually resulted in my current PIED problem. Once I started my reboot, for the first week or more - zilch! Couldn't get the old codger up for love or money, never mind morning wood! Since then, gradually it's returning, sometimes in the middle of the night, sometimes in the morning, some days/nights nothing. I think I detect a slightly improving trend, so hope/expect to be back to some sort of normal sooner or later. May not be this year, but luckily the year's almost out anyway.

I don't think that necessarily follows, in either direction. Too many factors feature in it, I reckon, for boners (morning or otherwise) to correlate direction and reliably with 'healing'. In other words, I wouldn't worry about it too much.
