completly agree, actually on my path to recovery i have changed my music taste from popular rock music to good old music i never knew existed, currently enjoying the pure magic that is The Velvet Underground with Nico

 

How much the moreso (i just totally butchered the proper phrase hahaha) with tv shows and movies that contain sexually suggestive themes and sex scenes!!

Mindful consumption of all media is the key.

 

Music is a very powerful thing that can really influence people to do some wonderful, or terrible things. The music I listen to is purely instrumental usually. No lyrics, no words, just the tune, and emotion that coincides with the song. I'd recommend looking up music from something that you're familiar with, like a movie, tv show, maybe a video game. Chances are you'll find something that will catch your interest, and can truly inspire you to feel the way you want to feel.
