    Hello,

Just started the whole reboot process, hasn't even been a day since I decided to do something about it. I had a question to ask about something that has been bothering me. Over the years, I have accumulated a large stash of pornography on the hard drive of my computer. Almost 100 gigabytes. I have had more in the past and have deleted my stash out of shame over half a dozen times, only to download it all again eventually. I have probably spent around $60 for porn. Most of it I download for free. I consistently search for new releases and torrent videos featuring my favorite actresses.
I was wondering what the best thing to do is in situations like this. Like I said, I have deleted the stash numerous times only to get it all back eventually. I have read others describe this as "treasure hunting" for the perfect scene and then bringing it back to my little cave to add it to my pile of treasure. Is it best to just delete everything right now? I suppose the idea of having to download it all again would be a deterrent in and of itself, as that does take a lot of time and patience. And then a part of me is thinking "well why not just hold onto it for now, just in case." Which I know is the wrong thing to do. I'm just not sure.

As of right now I have decided to abstain from looking at or adding to my stash.

Thanks for reading, have a good and wonderful day.

    First, welcome to the forum!

Now, honestly it doesn't make sense at all to keep your stash. To paraphrase an article from YBOP, it's like a recovering alcoholic keeping some of their favorite beer in a cupboard, "just in case"...of what? Giving up?...

It's just like when I delete useless/old/pre-NoFap stuff from my computer, I don't "like" doing it, but it's so liberating not to drag all this stuff with you. Delete all of this crap that's taking space for nothing on your hdd. If your mindset is good, then it will be for the last time, and the treasures you'll be hunting for will be so much more valuable :)

  3. Hmm well there are easy ways to relapse even if you do get rid of those downloads, I know one thing if you have them or not you will have to deal with temptation frustration and boredom learn how to deal with those emotions first
