    Some background information:
I've been doing PMO pretty much since my junior year of high school. I am a junior in college now and decided to start trying NoFap with the new year. So far my longest streak has been 15 days, but the average streak has been 5. I live in a dorm currently and have no roommate. With COVID, all of my classes are online and I spend most of my day in front of my laptop. I have been seeing little improvement thus far, and with my current situation I am becoming desperate.

So far I have the following tools at my disposal:
    - Cold Turkey Blocker: Prevents you from uninstalling or circumventing a block entirely. I input any key words or phrases and if it shows up in a search bar or url the site is blocked.
    - Covenant Eyes: This one is okay, it locks restricted mode for Youtube and blocks a few websites, but that is about it.
    - I have screen restrictions enabled on my iPhone so that I can't access the internet or download apps. The restrictions were activated through Family Sharing, so I can't disable them.

The good news is that I now no longer have any way of accessing porn through my smartphone. This has been a major win for me, as in the past I was able to circumvent internet blocks by using Instagram as a source of porn.

    The bad news:
I keep finding new phrases and key words that circumvent the Cold Turkey blocks. It's gotten to the point where I am going to Amazon e-books and other online book sites to find titles that fulfill my fantasies. Each time I relapse I block all said links that led up to the relapse, but the internet is big and I worry that this will be a never ending cycle. I feel like I'm playing a game of chess with myself.

I want something that will remove explicit images and material from the internet before I even try accessing them. I can't find any blockers that are free and configured so that I can't easily remove them.

If anyone knows of any blockers or has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Hey, i would say what you did is enough, you will never be able to totally block everything as your mind will always find a way for you to find something exciting like you mentioned from the e-books etc.

Start by doing a routine where you spend less time in front of your laptop in the beginning, its essential and it will help you a lot. Get into something that makes you feel good, talk with friends etc, avoid spending time doing ''nothing''.

    Wish you the best

I guess that's the unfortunate reality. Thank you for the advice though.

If you are more inclined to watch porn in the morning or evening, you can probably block internet access from your router during those times. So you need internet when you have classes, but then if you have no evening class you can shut down internet completely after for example 8pm. It's more intense, but it can help.

It's like you're playing chess with yourself who is playing 3d chess with you. If you want to know how the game ends I know because I played it a lot and had a lot of friends who played it better than me. Like this: I tried cancelling my internet access and still used pm+ it didn't really make a change. I think that's part of the proces is first we try the obvious stuff, the old Nancy reagan "just say no" thing. After a few years we might catch on that we'll need something more than that.

I actually just downloaded pluckeye and it works great. I use it to block a couple of media search bars that Cold Turkey doesn't screen.
