    Hey all,

I'm brand new here, as of about 5 minutes ago. I'm a 28 year old male, and after 16 years of addiction to PMO, I picked up the fight against PMO and told my fiancé back in July 2019. I've gotten some accountability partners at my church, and set up the Covenant Eyes accountability software on all of my devices.

I've been fighting now for about 8 months, and the longest I've lasted is about 4 weeks. I recently relapsed after 10 days clean. Just starting to feel a bit hopeless.

Its day 0 for me. I want to beat this. My fiancé deserves the best of me, and I can't bring this addiction into my marriage. PMO has wrecked or perverted my mind, my relationship, and almost every aspect of my life. By the grace of God I am moving forward with my loving fiancé by my side, and a great group of Godly men at my church to lean on.

I'm so thankful to have found this site and this community, though too. I feel like every bit of accountability and encouragement I can find will help me in this fight. I hope I can be of help here as well for anyone else struggling.

    Cheers, y'all. Be blessed.

I am also new in this field. I was 13 when I started watching porn. From last year I understand and started doing various things which can help me but it didn't work for me. The longest streak is 47 days which i made 2 months back. It happens because after some research I came to know that how p*rn is made and due to people like us who don't get satisfied from normal p*rn, there are terms like EXTREME and VIOLENT which normal p*rnstars can't do, so for it sex trafficking is done. I came to know about problem like Erectile Dysfunction and Premature Ejaculation. Things like these things made me so determinant that I don't watch p*rn whatever the circumstances are there but I got trapped by Free p*rnhub premium membership.
You are not alone, I know I am just 18 but if you want any help you can ask me.

    Hi!

Yeah it's a strong addiction, mainly because there's always access to the drug. I went over a year clean but got in a downward spiral. Hopefully this website will help.

    Welcome!

@Victorious Soldier That's such an awesome achievement man, congratulations. And thank you for the encouragement. Glad to be walking down this journey with you. Remember: you've gone 4 months before, you CAN do it again!

@iamaddictedguy Brother, I can't tell you how wise of a decision you are making. This addiction has ravaged you for 5 years, but believe me, you are so much better off tackling it now than when I decided to after 16 years. Your longest streak obliterates mine - congratulations! And thank God for your heart; the fact that you feel conviction about the production process is massive. Good on you man.

@Jiminy Cricket Dude. A YEAR?! Holy crap. Thats real #NoFapGoals right there man. You're so right though, porn is a highly addictive drug, like cocaine and heroine combined, and there's unlimited, free access to it. The odds are against us, but the decisions we've made to break free of the addiction will have ripple effects throughout the rest of our lives. We've got this!

  11. Hey, welcome to the NoFap community
    : )

It's nice to see you here fighting the good fight alongside us!
First let me go ahead and drop some helpful links for you:
Getting Started Guide / Forum Rules / How to Use the NoFap forums/ Glossary/ NoFap Panic button/
Set up your day counter /
    Rebooting Resources/
    Accountability groups (new!)/
    About NoFap/ Support NoFap

    Here is just some advice:
First and foremost please take a careful look at each section in the forum, there may be something(s) you will find to be of big help to you.

Secondly I advise you to be active on your profile(as there a few active people in the profile section). Please start by choosing an avatar and then begin posting frequent status posts to show you're active and needing support/encouragement.
The forum has got a neat little feature that shows freshly posted statuses for all users to see.
People will find your profile and give you support.

There’s a portion of people who love communicating in the profile section..(it should be and is )mostly spportive talk but it doesn't hurt to deviate from supportive conversations. It would be great to have you join in and become part of the team!
We support others in the threads, profile posts, and journals/reboot logs.
Once you receive some support, please be sure and be grateful to the member for the help/support you received and consider giving some in return to anyone you wish.

Thirdly, you should highly consider creating a public journal/reboot log (in the appropriate sectionfor you) to write about your days in depth for us members to follow along on your journey and offer support to you on.

Please start your journal in the correct section and with that, also try your best to post in the correct sections as it is mandatory and would be helpful to the mods who organize the forum. : )

Last but not least: Good luck on your journey here, make sure to really give it a try with all your heart!
