Do you guys think that limiting internet use, in general, would help with the recovery process? I'm thinking about just plain not being online as often.. I feel like the brain is still being semi-simulated by the pixels of a computer, even if no sexual images are shown? Maybe... thoughts?

Hey man, I don't think "the pixels" will overstimulate your brain.

Maybe I'm wrong of course, but think about the TV. TV has been around for decades, yet this PIED is new. It's the recognition of sexually stimulating patterns what triggers MO.

Limit internet use if you feel it's constantly a trigger, but I wouldn't worry about being online unless you find yourself with compulsive-addictive behavior (clicking nonstop on FB, instagram, etc.) or triggered to PMO.

I would say yes.For me while assessing internet from my phone I made a rule for myself to stand up and while in laptop,I put a rubber band in my wrist. Also I keep an offline tracker in front of me.It helps but what to set restrictions depends largely on your own nature. For example I never get any urge in shower and less urge in laptop. And I have most urges when I use mobile internet at bed so it depends on you.

Mk. I think I will simply spend less time on facebook. Less chance of trigger, plus I should probably stop checking it so much anyways.

    Thanks for the input guys!
