So, here's the thing. And a lot of you might think I'm kidding but I'm completely serious.
I'm 16, I've been masturbating since I was about 9, and I have never once watched porn.
I am however something of an MO addict, as I masturbate about 2-5 times a day. I oftentimes look at pictures when I do this, but I've never been watching a full-out pornographic video while doing the dirty.
Do you think this will change my experience with NoFap? I don't have the problems many people describe of seeing women as sexual objects (though I do have a great deal of trouble approaching and flirting with women) or being unable to sit at my computer without getting urges. I'm still committed to 100 days with no fapping but I just want to hear your opinions on what this might mean for my journey.
(Note: I really had no idea where to post this, feel free to move it if somewhere else seems better)

I don't want to sound like I'm shaming you or trying to make you guilty. I am giving you my point of view on what you wrote here.
You describe sitting at your computer getting urges, and/or looking at pictures.
Even though you state that you believe that you are not objectifying women, it sounds like you are getting sexual stimulation from viewing images of them.
This sounds like you have a relationship with pornography. I'm not judging that, I'm just saying that that is how it sounds.
You need to decide for yourself. You can do that here, by interacting with the people here, reading the information of YBOP, and then following other links and educating yourself on where you are at, and where you think you should go.
Without putting a value on this- it is extremely common for 16 year old young men to masturbate more than once per day. What a lot of people at NoFap think, is that the use of porn while masturbating to orgasm, is an activity that leads to many different types of problems.
Getting a good look at this now is taking an important step to creating the best life for yourself and those you come in contact with.

Here's the thing. If you are an average American male, you have spent your life being bombarded by messages that tell you that women are objects. If you watch sports, every beer commercial fall's under this category. So on some level you, unconscious or other wise, the odds are you objectify women without realizing it. Video games are a prime example as they sexualize women and make them into objects that we, the players, have to save and inevitably win at the end of the game.

Now you mention that you fap to pictures of women, sorry bud but that is objectification. Those models you are fapping to have become the object of your fantasy.

All that aside, I, personally, would count those pictures as porn. They may be stills but you are using them to fuel your masturbation, ergo porn. So for you, I would say stay away from what ever pictures you are using because they will most likely cause you to relapse. And just use this time for personal enrichment.

Thank you both, I hadn't really thought about it that way but you're absolutely right. I have a long way to go, just like everyone else.
