I've completed Nofap 3 day challenge, I now move on the next level which is 7 day Nofap.

Learnings: So right now I notice I get compulsive thoughts when I'm feeling overhwhelmed by work and it pops into my mind as an escape. So I see that I use these pleasure inducing things to escape feelings of overwhelm or boredom but that's where I have to be disciplined. It's in those moments where my mind is wanting to escape from what I have to do that I have to be the most disciplined because its in those moments that my brain is being teached how to react those feelings. It all starts with certain thought patterns that are so sneaky but the quicker I can catch my self the quicker I do something about it. Qeustion about that btw if anyone reading this know, once I catch myself in an unwanted thought pattern should I fight it or let it be because its really annoying when I'm trying to work.

The better I get at controlling my mind by first just noticing and being aware of it and then being strong to accept the discomfort and reject the comfort, my brain will really start to say ok this guy actually might be serious and overtime will change to be in coalition with how I truly want to be and live.

I think changing in these moments requires mindfulness, self-discipline, self-compassion, patience, and determination. I have to try, really try and keep trying and that's how I can change myself and change my life. You can never lose as long as you keep trying because the more you try the more you'll get better. Discipline and mindfulness are 2 skills that you really have to develop and you can develop them by just applying them to whatever you do like intense exercise, work, sports, cold shower. Cold showers and intense exercise are a really good way to develop discipline. Mindfulness you can have while doing anything but you can especially develop mindfulness while running, meditating, driving, walking, and other simple activities.
