Hi all.I had 3 streaks of around 30 days this year and im currently on my 4th attempt to 90 days. A big problem i encounter during no pmo is sleeping.I just cant go to sleep before 3am no matter what i do.Before i would just watch some porn,get some short relief and went to sleep.Now I'm determined to quit it once and for all but i wish i could fall asleep easier as it affects my study performance and my exams.Sometimes i relapse during the night just to be able to fall asleep faster.So overcoming this problem would help me a lot to achieve my goal. If any of you have any advice to share with us about this i would be very grateful.
Yeah, talk to your doctor about your sleep problem. My doctor prescribed me something for my insomnia and it works great. It's light and non-narcotic and it gives just the little push I need to fall asleep. When I still can't sleep I drink a cup or two of Sleepytime Tea by Celestial Seasonings. Again, it's light and non-narcotic and helps me fall asleep. Also, something that helped me was backing up my bedtime by a half hour a night. So, if you're going to bed at 3, try going to bed at 2:30, then 2:00, then 1:30, etc. Also exercise and meditation helps.
Ok,thanks.I study medicine and i am a bit skeptical about sleep medications.Although i will try some tea to help with it.The problem is not the time i go to bed,because even if i lay in bed at 1 am i will just move around for a few hours until i finally fall asleep.I will try to wake up earlier and maybe this will help,even though i might be sleepy that certain day.
