    This is just an intermittent fasting journal, but it can also be my NoFap journal as well. It's a combination of both..

    I think Intermittent Fasting is actually really good to combine with NoFap because it tests and challenges your willpower. Plus, it gives you more energy when you give your digestive system a rest, and you do more things productive at your time without food being there, or in the back of your mind. Same can be said with porn.

    So, I am taking this challenge, and see if I can reap any of the newfounded benefits of either NoFap and IF gives me.

    I will break my fast multiple times on purpose in this challenge for obvious reasons.

    Had my last meal this morning, starting intermittent fasting at 12:45 PM, 7/24/16.

    Been 3 hours from my fast, feeling hungry. Chugged down some water and it alleviated my hunger. I think most people mistake their thirst for hunger, which is why a lot of people are obese. Plus, I am doing some research.. and initially the fast is going to be hard because your body is not used to it. But later on, your body is forced to adapt to this routine, and you will eventually reap the benefits that comes with intermittent fasting.

    NoFap, it has been 2 weeks.. I feel much more confident, and energized.. not letting stuff get to me so easily. NoFap is increasing my testosterone, starting to notice slight gains and fat loss.. (from IF as well). Face is starting to be more clear. Sometimes I have an urge to just work-out, and exercise. Another benefit. More attention from girls.. and stuff. Yeah. But, I am not going to sweat it. I will still continue to reap more of the benefits that NoFap will provide.

    NoFap, and IF are a marathon.. not a sprint.

    Crap, I just had some sugar-free gum. I thought it was okay to have since I am not consuming any calories. But, I read that you should avoid these type of stuff at all cost because it is full of aspartame, and your brain cannot differentiate the difference between sweeteners and natural sweets. Which defeats the purpose of my fast. Now, I am learning the hard truth of the hunger that it induces. Still not going to eat solid food, though.

    How do you fast? I mean what you can eat or drink and for how long during the day? It may be better to start slow.

    Well, there are different ways people can fast. They can do it for 16/8 (16 hour fast, and 8 hour eating window), water fast/tea only fast, etc. Many people do it for weight loss, mental alertness in fasted state, challenging their willpower, other things, etc.

    Right now, I am doing my fast for a couple of days.. Coffee, and tea is allowed. I don't know about adding lemon to my tea though.

    It is currently 8:15 AM right now, urges to eat food are very slim. I am combating that urge to eat food with drinking a lot of waters, and exercise..

    NoFap: Day 16

    Urges, but never would think to act on them anymore.. in fact, I like to have more spotaneous erections without touching it. As the days go by, my erections gets harder and harder. Not going back to lose all these benefits I'm reaping just for momentary pleasure.

    IF (T2): Day 1

    Currently 11:10 AM right now, more hunger surge is coming. Just had my green tea with organic lemon juice (that is allowed on my fast). I am probably thirsty at the moment, I will chugged down more water. Trying to abstain from hunger and eating the whole day. I notice time goes very slowly, and I am more productive in my day when I fast. The only thing that is a downside really, is that I cannot stand to look at food right now, it makes me feel sick. (I am not anorexic, I will breaking my fast on purpose eventually).

    Broke my fast yesterday, I am probably not going to continuously write about Intermittent fasting on this journal. I will only do it as it is to when's my heart's content. But for now, I am not going to fast today. Or technically I am, because I am having a 18/6 fasting eating window.

    11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

    NoFap: Day 17

    Had a lot of triggering thoughts when I was laying in bed dreaming. I am surprised I passed it last night. No urges right now. If I can make it one day, yesterday, and the day before, then I can make it today. :)

    Do you stay busy like working or at school. I find staying busy very helpful.

    Well, it is really hard to find staying busy. I tend to a lot of my chores like mowing the lawn, taking the garbage out, heating up and making tea, exercising, other things, etc. But, I do all of them and they're already done. It is true that being busy does help, and I mean.. it's help almost 100% of the fact that I could make NoFap and IF this far. As well as giving myself more credit, I have strong willpower, and determination. Doing these stuff in fact increases my willpower and determination even more. In which is a cycle of success. Mindset is also what matters in this a lot too.

    Plus, after a day of fasting, sorta.. You get a clearer mindspace and the brainfog lifts [even more]. PMO gives you brainfog, but I am way far from my last PMO (which was 18 days ago. Never going back there). But, once you truly get more a clearer mindspace, you find everything super easy.. in fact.. too easy. It's like my own self-made existential crisis for the better. I can probably take up in more harder tasks. But the simple easy tasks that is available for me ATM is already swept and put away.

    IF (T3): Day 1

    Yesterday, and yes... this doesn't count as a ''relapse'' for my IF streak.. as it is in my eating window time and it is not junk food. I had broccoli, but in a very little amount. For some reason, I wasn't even hungry. Like, I literally wasn't. In fact, I would feel kind of sick if I ate something. I was like "wow". And FYI, my house is full of junk food that my mom bought me, and I am still resilient enough to say "No".. I would still feel sick (much more) if I was snacking on a bag of chips. I am somewhat salivating at the thought even writing this, but I can still say "no". I am not hungry, eating that is an option. And you know that eating that bag of chips is going to make you even more hungrier and it is very rich, and your body craves it even more before you were having it.

    No. Not eating it. I will let someone else in the family have more for themselves. I told them about intermittent fasting, and they didn't really give a shit and they told me that I was going to fuck up my metabolism. I rolled my eyes, and didn't say anything to them. I didn't really care about them not caring for what I am saying...

    And the fact, "Not eating for a couple of days is going to fuck up your metabolism" sounds extremely absurd if you look at from another perspective. And to be honest, I don't listen to all or some of the bullshit that "medical professionals" have stated. Quite frankly, most of the medical professional's websites aren't necessarily professional, and if they are.. sometimes they have flawed data, and errors. In this case, where the "Not eating is going to fuck up your metabolism" bullshit came from was from only ONE GUY in Somalia. And in Somalia, where there are physically demanding tasks, polluted air, poor neighborhood and very little food. The foods weren't even healthy either, it was probably a bunch of processed bullshit. But, they had no choice. They would literally wear out their bodies and starve to death..

    And as well as back to our hunters-and-gatherers days, like 2,000,000 years ago before agriculture was even introduced merely 3 millenniums ago. They didn't really have a lot of source of food. And they needed to survive. They had to constantly move in search for a meal. 16-25 miles a day with running and walking, as well as cavemen strength-trained their muscles back then on very low resources. They were all fit, and healthy, and not to mention strong willed. They weren't emaciated. Their lifestyle and resources around them actually had a great benefit on them, and the average caveman back then is probably more athletic than some of the Olympic athletes.

    However, if you actually read to here this far. Don't just jump and do Intermittent Fasting, you can seriously fuck up your health if you are not smart enough. I would explain here, but if you are asking how to do this safely. Ask me, and I will.

    And, I still hold on by my point. I think Intermittent Fasting is a great way for losing weight. In fact, that's the only straight-forward way to lose weight. Your body starts increasing HGH hormones, testosterone hormones, and other things, etc. Fasting also improves insulin sensitivity, which means you pig out on those fruits without worrying too much about its fructose content. And according to more of my research, fasting can promote longevity.. "because believe it or not, the less you eat the longer you will live. Studies have shown how the lifespan of people in certain cultures increased due to their diets. However, we don’t need to live amongst a foreign community to reap the benefits of fasting. One of the primary effects of ageing is a slower metabolism, the younger your body is, the faster and more efficient your metabolism. The less you eat, the less toll it takes on your digestive system." according to Lifehack.

    Fasting improves immune system, as your body is not working to digest those foods constantly. Your body reduces free radical damages, and starves off cancer cell formation. "In nature, when animals get sick they stop eating and instead focus on resting. This is a primal instinct to reduce stress on their internal system so their body can fight off infection. We humans are the only species who look for food when we are ill, even when we do not need it." according to Lifehack.

    Another benefit that Lifehack have stated, is that Fasting can contribute to Self-Enlightenment and yes it does, and I am the first-hand account to attest this.

    Had some thoughts, if the thoughts become stronger. I will log off this computer, and call it the night. But, right now... there are no thoughts. I will maybe watch some YouTube vids, or browse through the NoFap forums. 3 weeks the goal.

    Did a 20 hour intermittent fasting. Waited all the way until dinner time to make myself some nice organic veggies. 125 calories mixed of brocoli, cauliflower, and carrots. And I already feel full from that. It takes 20 minutes for your body to realize your body is full.

    Honestly, you shouldn't really count your calories so much. It actually depends on what you eat. Brocoli, and cauliflower are very low in calories and super filling. The meal was slightly big. But that big meal was just 125 calories. I am satisfied with my dinner.

    By the way, I do have noticed some weight loss doing Intermittent Fasting while eating Keto healthy. I love it.

    Just remember there is a difference between weight loss and fat loss. If you do not get adequate protein you will lose LBM (Lean Body Mass).

    I switched onto much bigger meals now, I have beef, and chicken breasts and other things of adequate sources of protein. I also snack on cheese.
