So, this is a topic that I've talked about before in replies to other threads, but lots of people seem to worry about when benefits of abstaining from pmo will kick in so I'm writing this post to address the topic and hopefully answer your questions.

You've been working your ass off and finally made it to 2 weeks where it's told that you're let into the magical land of benefits huh? Well, everyone is different and the time can vary. If you've been whacking your meat 5 times a day for the past few years, then it might take longer than a guy whose only been at the nasty habit for a year.

So, you waited, and waited and you still feel like the same dirtbag you used to be? Well, the thing about quitting pmo is that it only allows you to get to the benefits, you have to get yourself there. Use a bridge as an analogy. On one side is the worse you, on the other side is benefits. In the middle is a pile of porn magazines. You can't get to the benefits with the pmo in the way. So 2 weeks or more has passed and you got the porn (or whatever your nasty habit is) out of the way, now what? Well, now you have to cross the bridge yourself. You couldn't have done it with the mountain of magazines in your way, but crossing the bridge isn't always a cakewalk either.

"I'm trying to cross the bridge, but something keeps stopping me!" Well, Timmy, sometimes under that pile of porn mags another pile of shit, in my case it was Videogames and YouTube. Just like the porn, you've got to cut them too (maybe not totally, but it depends on the situation) to reach the oh so wonderful benefits. Sitting in the corner, playing World of Warcraft isn't getting you anywhere bub (or bubette).

"Yay, I've gotten myself organized and kicked out the crap and now I see the benefits on the horizon!" Great job, Timmy, but now you have to replace your old habits with productive ones, like working out. This may also kick your ass, but now you have the time to do it, and it'll feel great! Getting started is always the hardest part though, so staying on schedule and organized is key.

I think that wraps it up, I hope this helped you or inspired you or something like that. Who knows, no one may care about this at all, but at least it's out there. So yeah, bye.

Completely agree nofap alone isn't enough, instead you need to take multiple steps of action along with nofap, then the benefits will be yours.

NoFap could be the catalyst indeed, unless one is a slug in general in other areas of life. If you are a decent, hardworking, & active person, nofap can be magical.

But it's going to take more than a couple months to reach a superman or superwoman state of being. When one truly conquers their sexuality, they become a god among men, or goddess among women lol.

"So, you waited, and waited and you still feel like the same dirtbag you used to be?"

Not everyone doing nofap is a dirtbag believe it or not. ;)

Hah, I know, the purpose of that sentence was just to say that whether you realize it or not, you have improved as a person since you started NoFap compared to before so.

I agree, that's sort of what I meant by replacing your old habits with beneficial ones, you have to turn yourself from a slug into a decent, hardworking, and active person. It's all part of the process.

Earlier I have done NoFap for 180 days and I got many benefits from it like -
    • Female attention
    • Improved Memory
    • More Confidence
    • More Energy
    • Clear & glowing skin
    • No more mood swings
    • More Focused
    • Muscle gain
    • I'm Always Happy
    • Hair growth and increased hair volume
    & a lot more.....

But on day 181 I had a wetdream and after that I feel worse, low energy, Fatigue, my confidence was gone
Thereafter I reset my counter and started from day 1. Now today, it's day 87 of NoFap but still I'm not getting none of the benefits which I got earlier (mentioned above) I'm completely abstaining from PMO, including :
    1. No sexual thoughts
    2. Not using any Social Media sites
    3. No peeking at girls photos.
I'm exercising regularly, doing meditation from staring (day 1) and now also but I don't know why I'm not getting the benefits in this streak (day 87) ?
    Please anyone tell me.

What is it with you guys with Dragon Ball avatars Who seem to view your recovery as some kind of game with instant rewards? It’s like you view Nofap as a linear progress with instant gratification, just like PMO. You need to learn to work and be persistent. This is more then that.

Life is filled with ups and downs. Life sucks sometimes. Quitting PMO only lets you live life unfiltered and fully. Everything doesn’t get better just by quitting this. You have to do the work. This is not a fun game where you unlock perks just like that. You are doing this for the wrong purpose and Will only get disappointed if That is all which drive you. This is about your life as a whole.

Sidenote: Wet dreams are not relapses.
