Before I even knew I was addicted to the degrading, enslaving, and disgusting thing we call pornography I had many other addictions. These addictions were more of a bad habit, but I never realized they were bad at all. These habits include drinking soda, cussing, and saying the word 'like' before every sentence. Of course I am sure there are many other bad habits that are still unknown to me to this day.

But the thing with these 'habits' is that they were easier to stop and flee from. Yes, I still had urges to drink soda, cuss, and say the word like. But, it wasn't that difficult to quit those things at all. But porn is different.

Porn is more tempting, harmful, and evil.

This is my advice to you. Just like you found out how evil and harmful porn was by taking a step back. Looking at it for what it really is not what society says it is. I challenge you to do the same with the other bad habits in your life. Even if society says its okay, its normal, and everyone does it. Take a step back and evaluate every aspect of your life. Pick out the good and bad things, and try to slowly improve yourself through this agonizing journey called NoFap.

I like the post, down is my habit story.

I quit smoking and drinking, I quitted having intentional orgasms and I very recently quitted watching P/P subs.

I quit living at my parents home because I wanted to surpass the stage of being a kid.

I would like to quit my education since it doesn't guarantee anything at all and I have a better chance of making money by simply not fapping. Neither do they teach this life changing things.

I quit caring about other people's (little) judgements. I still feel this bad habit still influences me and keeps my wings short. I let it keep my wings short. Got to take full responsibility as I just pointed a fellow fapstronaut on the same feat.

I quit blaming other people and circumstances for my situation. I have a choice; I can always choose how to react.

I went from destroying myself/ my life to building myself/my life. (This I can always improve)

I'm almost 19, my parents do help me financially until my school is done so I got plenty of time to make my own living (I do work now but only in the weekends)

That is so true, you can get so much s*it done just by not looking at P.
And to OP, I agree with you 100% percent, and this may lead us to several big changes. T started reducing junk food, soda drinks, PMO and started working out, I'm sure good things will come out of this
