Hello guys I feel like I use porn as a coping mechanism for my loneliness and lack of intimicy with people on my life.
I'm especially addicted to porn when I can interact with other people. Either if it's just chatting about some kinks we have, Roleplaying or also trading porn. I think I do that because it creates, at least for a short time, some form of intimicy with the other person.
I've often waste hours on that which is a main reason I want to quit. The other reason is that I got into some kinks which are probably not good for me since they make my self esteem issues even worse.
And this lack of intimacy is not just in a sexual or romantic way. I feel that I'm not close with anyone in my life neither with friends or with my family.
Does anyone here feel similar to me?

    It's very common - extremely.

I'm just curious. Your counter says you've been rebooting for 180 days. I thought a reboot was for 90 days. How long are you going to continue with your rebooting? I'm only on 43 days. I'm going to continue to 90 days and then reassess. If I can think of women and sex realistically at that time then I might end it Otherwise, I'll continue.

It sounds like you are introverted and that's not a bad thing. I was for around half of my life before I worked with people to undo my introversion. I'm not exactly an extrovert now but I'm more in the middle. Anyway, you need to stay away from porn and make some real-life friends. I know it won't be easy but it's possible. You say you are especially addicted when interacting with other people Do you interact with them online? WHERE are you interacting with them? Sounds like you're in one of those porn chat sites. Why are you isolating your chats on one topic: porn? After being on porn for some time, it's pretty common to start getting into extreme topics or kinks. Obviously, it doesn't feel good for you to get into these topics. No, they are not good for you. Your family is probably worried about you as mine was worried about me. They made all kinds of theories about why I was so secluded. They thought I was mentally challenged. They thought I was gay. I don't know how they got to this conclusion. "We never see you with a girl" "Have you ever seen me with guys?" Anyway, I used to be in your shoes. I'm a perfect example of someone who has gotten past it. You can do. Pick one person in your family that you feel comfortable with and start a conversation with them. It could be about an interest of yours (NOT PORN), it could be something related to sports, it could be about a favorite TV show. Find something you could have in common with that person and start a conversation. You'll learn how to connect with people.

My goal is not a reboot - it's to quit pornography forever. Counter is a bit off, it's really like 150ish days. Goal is not to think differently about sex or women, but to remove an addiction via long-term consistent work internal and external.

I'm done with porn. Do you know how much crime is in the porn scene? Human trafficking, rape, kidnapping. Nope, I'm not going to do anything to further that. As far as thinking differently about sex or women, that is MY goal. I never said anything about it being YOUR goal. I don't plan to go beyond 100 days reboot. i am done with porn and will never watch it again. For me, I may return to masturbation and do it in a healthy way. Notice, this is what *I* am doing.

I've felt this way too. I just try to remind myself that porn won't ever "fill the void". Sometimes that works; sometimes it doesn't.
