    I want to ask this serious question of ya'll. I've spoken about my struggle with other Christians but I don't think any of them know of the modern depravity being depicted on web pages now. I don't intend to expose them to it, why should I? But I'd like to hear an affirmation from someone who knows my struggle well. There's violence, incest abounds, rape, pedophilia, just about every depravity out there and it seems to be becoming more and more normalized. Standard porn which may involve a man and woman in a room is a gateway into a depravity of great evil for prolonged addiction.
    This reason is part of what made my soul cry out about my problems so vividly. No one else really knows or understands this total corruption. It's a corruption of every part of the soul that would be good and pure to destroy any respect for any aspect of sexuality. Am I right?

    All sin escalates. Once we decide we want something other than God to satisfy our desires, we will find that we want to get further and further from him. So, we want to fulfill the good desire we have for sexual intimacy within a committed "until death do us part" relationship. We may look to casual sex without commitment or P or any number of things. These will then lead to worse -- in terms of frequency, subject matter, etc.

    Sinful desire will not rest until it arrives at its inevitable conclusion -- death. (James 1:15) The only counter to death is life -- and there is only one source for life: Jesus himself! May we all find ourselves resting in Christ's peace each day. All other roads lead to certain and total destruction.
