Porn: The New Tobacco

So I was watching a Ted Talks video where this one guy explains how Porn is the new Tobacco of this day and age. Often regarded as a harmless, innocent thing that people watch to relieve sexual tension. Yet, very few people understand (besides us) how damaging this stuff can be. Our parents never had their hands on the most potent stuff that nearly all of us have free access to today via the internet. The best my dad could get in the 70's/ 80's was a playboy magazine in a drugstore. And even that was very, very soft core compared to the messed up shit you can find today.

It made me realize that I guess we are the first generation to experience this. We are the first to suffer from this toxic business. I'm glad that we are beginning to pull together and try to free ourselves from it. I'm one of those people who thinks things like alcohol and tobacco should always be accessible, however you must learn to be a responsible person and use it in moderation or not all. But with this stuff, I would really like to see it be eradicated almost completely. I don't want my future son to have to go through this painful journey as I am.

Fuck porn, and fuck any money related argument used in favor of keeping the industry around. NoFap for life. Healthy sex life for life.
