Road to Recovery

    Hello, everyone. I am brand new to this recovery thing, NoFap and, am hoping to get my life on track to being a true human with nothing to hide or be ashamed of. Because it is exhausting living a double life, filled with shame and sub conscience compulsion to direct attention away from myself to hide aforementioned shame, which is a vicious cycle. Not to mention the compulsion that is slowly taking over/ruining my life, through porn, masturbation and a profound want to orgasm. I think this is the start to my new life.

    Hey @Zeff,

    Welcome to the fight. I have lived many years under that same cloud of shame, fear, and need. I almost lost my marriage many times.

    I have almost seven years free and my marriage is better than I could imagine.
