SAA

I decided to go to a sex addict group tonight. I've not PMed for 5 months. I have quit in the past before only a year or 2 later to relapse. So this time im doing something different. I joined this group, therapy, and SAA. I'm not a religious person so the 12 step programs are a lot for me to swallow at the SAA. I'm thinking instead of doing it for god and asking his/her forgiveness I should be asking my Wife/kids for forgiveness.

Any other non-religious people here that can help frame this 12 step process?
