Hello everyone, I'm new to the nofap website but I've been reading people stories for about 3 months now thinking that's all I needed to get the healing. Well I was wrong, just 30 minutes ago I failed at the attempt to overcome my erge to p.o.. I've been addicted since I was 11 and I've had a looooong bumpy road with this problem. Now I made a page and I'm ready to start my journey with people like me. Please help me!

It is hard. I can't imagine me as a 20 something year old guy not jerking off or viewing porn in my day. Unfortunately( I write jokingly) we now have access to all this information and know that chances are real good that our depression and esteem issues (you name it) quite possibly and most likely are related to over exposure to online porn and excessive masturbation. I only wish that I either listened to the nay Sayers of my day or realized that not holding back from excessive semen releasing was harming me like I am convinced now; that it did . Still, when you read up on it and hear so many claim how much better they do without it; well, what do you do? Completely stop or bring it down to next to never. It may feel good and even bring some pleasure but in the long run, it hurts us.

Remember, we're only humans and we will make mistakes. But we can rise up after reflecting on our mistakes.

With regards to quitting any habits, always take things one day at a time.

    Stay strong @Lookingtobeblessed !

You are so right, when I first started when I was young it was cool and felt really good, then years later out of nowhere I found myself CAN'T stopping even if I tried and I wanted to. I went through and still going on 6 to 7 years of depression from this. I hear people say you feel a little better after 30 days but the longest I've been was 10 days and when I failed I failed hard.
