Seeking Hollywood Movies with Nudity

Discussion in 'Rebooting - Porn Addiction Recovery' started by Thomas1987, May 16, 2018.

Is watching a Hollywood movie with nudity from start to finish okay?

  1. Yes - if you actually are interested in the movie

  2. No - you're basically seeking out and viewing nudes/porn

I haven't looked at pornography in over 8 months. (I actually had a really good PMO streak of a few months too, but since then I have been masturbating sporadically).

About a week about, I started to semi-consciously seek out watching movies with female nudity. I started by looking through my own DVD collection and found "Hollow Man".... and then I ordered "Species" off eBay... and then I bought the original "American Pie" from a charity shop.

And earlier this morning I found myself doing a web search for "popular movies notable for female nudity".

I haven't masturbated to any of this material though.

I don't consider this to be a relapse as I don't consider nudes to be pornography..... and also I consider watching a movie from start to finish (even if you choose it for nudity) to be a few steps above actually seeking out nudes on the web.

I should probably try to curtail this little streak.

Just to be clear, I haven't looked at any sort of nude/naked or 'raunchy' material in 8 months. Only these few movies with nudity in this past week.

I suppose my answer is the same as I gave to a posting yesterday, and that is why are you doing this? It is one thing to be watching a movie and a nude scene passes, it is another thing to seek out movies specifically for their nudity. This latter behavior would be a trigger for me, personally. So, again, why are you searching and watching specifically for nudes?

I'd have to call this a relapse, even though most R-rated films are not raunchy, they intended to arouse. Be careful.
