Hypothetically speaking, should a man be able to have sex with any reasonably attractive woman? Because I don't. In fact I never ever could. If i don't have some sort of connection with her then I will not get a sustainable erection. I wonder if other men feel this way too. Or should a man be like a pornstar and potentially go at it with any woman?
In my humble opinion, I think it depends on the kind of man you are/want to be: I am monogamous by nature, my heart doesn't have the room or the passion for loving more than one woman at a time, so I am not one for one-night stands and such. I would not be able to perform even if my life depended on it with just any woman. I have to feel attraction and not just reason that "she is hot." Other guys might see different and they can go with whatever they can get their hands on, and that is OK too. I am not here to judge them since everyone has to go with the standards they have for themselves.
I have seen enough P that I can imagine any variety of hooking ups. What I still cannot imagine is actually being a part of one. I have enjoyed gladly saying, "No thanks. You look nice, but you don't know me, you don't know what I like, but my wife does and she does well." Sadly I convinced myself that watching wasn't real involvement. I wasn't really doing anything if I was just looking. It was educational. I was still faithful, committed, and monogamous. Somehow she didn't see it that way, then came PIED, and here I am.
