So I had pied for a while and then I started nofap. Took a while but eventually I got around to my longest streak like 75ish days. I felt like I was about to explode all the time even though I felt like I had more energy and enthusiasm than I did ever before so I decided to rub one out. It wasn’t impulsive or with using porn I just thought I was listening to my body telling me something.

I know the die-hard nofappers will disagree but hear me out.

In the few weeks after I had several wet dreams for the first time in my life. Also a couple months later my pied was basically gone. I was full of sexual energy, i felt fully cured.

However, due to my current situation am not seeing a lot of girls so I had all this pent up energy that lead to a minor relapse. I didn’t PMO just watched a few things but just like that PIED came back.

It’s been almost 90 days since last M w/ O and a month since I watched P, is there any research/website that says M w/ Oing is needed or that it boosts reboot? I don’t know what to do but I miss not having pied

There's a lot of confusion about whether we need to M. Current medical community, pop psychology, women/men's magazines and sex culture says “Yes, jerk off. Good for relieving stress, natural urges, etc.”

For most folks, is say that's true. But if you suffer from PIED or other problems brought on by too much porn, then the answer is NO.

    Look at it this way:
Alcoholics don't take a drink to see if they still get drunk, drug addicts don't shoot up to see if they still get high. So why the FUCK would you jerk off to see if you still suffer from PIeD???

Im not saying use porn or anything like that. I just remember hearing that after a long period of hard-mode, ejaculating can give your system a sort of jump to restart it. Personally my pied went away when I had done this like 75 days hard mode

Personally I don't believe in the "jump-start" concept.

Maybe I'm reading your post wrong but you went 75 days, MO'd once, went another two months and then your PIED was healed. You've concluded that the MO healed your PIED, I conclude that you were already healing and healed despite the MO.
