So my parents have decided to take me to a psychologist when I told them about my problems. If you want to know about my problems read these(if you got time):-

    https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?posts/1420787/ - UPDATE
    https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?posts/1420787/ - LACK OF CONCENTRATION

    https://www.nofap.com/forum/index.php?posts/1469211/ - Panic attacks

Now I am in a condition in which I have to put lots of efforts in order to read even a single line of school textbook. My learning speed has become terrible. I feel scared during studying. This has been going on with me since February 2018.

I am not quite sure if PMO caused all those problems. There may be another cause.

I haven't told my parents about my PMO addiction but told all the problems.
So they have decided to take me to another city for seeking help of a psychologist(an acquaintance of my mother).

Should I tell my parents about my PMO addiction? I feel so ashamed in doing this.

I don’t know if I would. Do you have any close friends that you could confide in about it instead?

Have you talked to your psychologist about PMO? Sounds like PMO is certainly affecting your confidence.

How do you think your parents would handle your honest?

I haven't gone to the psychologist yet(he is in another city). I am confused if I should tell him about PMO. My decision making power is zero.

    Don't know.
They think I am very innocent and naive. They know I spend a lot of time on gaming and internet. My father is a bit conservative but my mother is practical minded.

Dude If you think the psychologist is half-way legit, I would definitely talk to him/her about it.

You’ve got a real PMO battle on your hands inkpot. It’s not gonna be easy but you’re getting closer to victory over PMO.. I can tell. PMO quitters hit a limit where they say I HATE PORN AND I WILL DO FUCKING ANYTHING TO STOP. I turned to God. Did the trick. My Main point is that you HAVE to hit this wall where you hate doing the deed SO MUCH. You say I CANT TAKE IT ANYMORE!

Thanks for your kind words. I have made the decision to never PMO again. I just wish these problems go away automatically. They are affecting my studies a lot.
BTW 16 June will mark my 60 days of no PMO.

That’s a gutsy move sir, good job! Also curious about fallensoldier’s questions. I also told my parents about my PMO recovery in December. I think telling them helped a lot.

It went pretty fine. At first I asked her to sit and listen but wasn't able to tell anything. She understood what I said. She was aware of the fact that many teenagers watch this kind of stuff secretly. I told her how it started when I was just in 5th grade and how many children watched that stuff at a very early age. Even my cousin was caught by his parents for the same in 5th grade and after that he stopped. I wish I had also been caught. But now almost after 8 years, I had to tell her everything and I did. I told her about Nofap and how I am trying to recover. She felt quite sad but told me that everything will be alright.
But my father isn't aware of this.

Now , in a few days, I have to tell about the addiction to the psychiatrist.

Telling your mom is a huge step! I think I read in your first post that you’re 17. You’re way ahead of me when I was that age. I’m 28 and I just got the courage to tell me parents.

Do you think you can talk to this psychiatrist in confidence? Your parents won’t be in the room, correct? If those 2 things are true, I would spill your guts to the psych. it is really healthy for you to be honest. Keep being honest.. you are on the right track.

    @RedeemedIowan Thanks again for replying.

TBH, I haven't ever been to a psychiatrist before. And I have the problem that I am too shy in front of strangers. In a nutshell, I am very poor in conversing with others and sharing my problems. When a doctor(homeopathic) asks a question, I take a lot of time in answering it.
I am thinking to write down the problems on a paper and give it to him because I won't be able to face him at that very moment.
My main problem is that I am unable to apply mind/logic in something productive like studies. I can play games like PUBG, watch YouTube videos etc but can't study anymore. Nowaday I am writing a file-project of computer in a paper copy but I feel so restless while doing that. All my attention/concentration during writing goes to my Penis as if my PMO mind is doing this to drag me back to that vicious PMO cycle. The same thing happened in my exams (and my grades dropped due to that reason). I was mentally tortured by my PMO mind in exams and I don't wanna remember those days.
At present I am in 12th grade, I have to get good grades to get a good college. I wish I get recovered by the time.
I am having this problem since February,2018.
