    Hey everyone!

Almost finished my first week of no PM, so far I have been doing fine temptation wise. Just trying to stay out of the house and stay busy, and it seems to be working.

One issue I am having however is I am not sleeping well. I wake up often, I feel my dreams are very active and sometimes sexual. Did anyone else encounter this in the beginning and does anyone have any tips for it?

Thanks in advance and goodluck to my fellow fapstraunauts!

  2. Yes it definitely can be caused by withdrawal, I have the exact same thing although it is improving at this point. The main thing is not letting it bother you, be gentle and just try to get comfortable and go back to sleep. I have heard to avoid belly sleeping and wear loose clothing to avoid sexual stimulation.

  4. When I started all this in January I had all sorts of weird dreams, many sexual ones and some just intimate with no sex. The dreams either involved porn actresses or women I liked at work. And the women at work in the dreams were always the married ones.

After a couple of months the dreams stopped completely.

What I did a lot in those two months is write the dreams out immediately after waking up. If they were sexual I wouldn't write out the details about the sexual actions.

I journaled several of them and looked them over later on. For some reason, having them in writing and looking at them with a clear mind seemed to kill the desire for the scenarios, especially the married women ones. Some of the dreams were down right scary and looking them over was kind of a shock to the system about what junk I had coming out of me.

I haven't had any of those weird dreams (sometimes they were nightmares) since February.

So just a suggestion, maybe writing a journal and looking it over afterwards might shock the system into stopping the dreams. Once again just a suggestion, a very unscientific one certainly but as I said I've not had those dreams in months.
